When you’re not hitting the books, watching one of Loughborough University’s top-rated sports teams play or getting to know your classmates at the award-winning Student Union, you could find browsing the great high street shops in town. Stop by Market Place to pick up vintage knick knacks or fresh farm produce from the rolling Charnwood countryside surrounding the city.
When you fancy going further afield, hop on the train and you can be in the in famous London St. Pancras Station in just 80 minutes. From there, the possibilities are endless. If you're looking to go further, the East Midlands Airport is close by, and London Luton airport isn’t out of reach. You’ll find plenty of low-cost flights at both, enabling you to explore all around Europe.
