How do I apply for a student flat on Student.com?

Once you’ve narrowed it down to your favourite property, go to the property page by clicking on ‘View rooms’. On the property page you need to choose your room and then click ‘Enquire’ or ‘Book Now’. We will guide you through the entire process, discuss your options and talk through any questions and issues you may have. When you find the perfect place for you, all you need to do is sign your contract, pay the deposit and the room is yours!

What are the different room types you offer?

There are two different room types on offer in the city of Plymouth.

1. A Private Room in which you have a private bedroom just for yourself. Depending on the property and the room you choose, the bathroom may be either shared or private. Other facilities are shared with other students.

2. The Entire Place, in which you get a fully self-contained studio flat. Therefore, your bedroom and all other facilities in the apartment are just for you - this room type will set you up for ultimate privacy.

Can you arrange a viewing for me?

Many of the flats we list in Plymouth have very good photos and videos that you can view on the property pages, so even if you can’t see the place for yourself, you’ll be able to get a very good idea of what your new student home will look like.

However, if you feel more comfortable seeing the place before booking it, and you can get to Plymouth before your move-in date, we can arrange a viewing for you. Just give us a call and one of our booking consultants will set it up.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. To secure your booking you’ll need to pay the landlord a deposit. Your booking consultant will provide more information on this when you are finalising the booking.

How do I pay my rent?

The rent is paid directly to the landlord, you don’t have to pay anything to Student.com. We will provide you with all the needed payment details once you’ve signed the contract and finalised the booking. The standard rent payment is made via bank transfer or with a credit or debit card.

Are the flats fully furnished?
