Ease your study stress with a stroll through tranquil Kowloon Park, which is just two minutes from your student accommodation. Look out for the terrapins basking in the sun beside the Chinese Garden’s lotus pond, or enjoy a kung fu or lion dance performance. When you’re feeling relaxed and recharged, head to Kimberley Road, also known as ‘Korea Street’ thanks to the plentiful Korean restaurants and grocery stores — try Seorae for delicious barbecued meats. Afterwards, take a stroll along the waterfront, or give your credit card a workout in the big name stores at Harbour City.

You won’t have to get up early for class when you’re based at Urban Pack Student. Students at Hong Kong Polytechnic can walk to lectures in 15 minutes. If you’re studying at the city’s other universities, your central location makes it quick and easy to get around. Walk to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station in two minutes, then reach City University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong in around 30 minutes.

When you get back home from university, head up to your dorm room and drop your bag in your private locker. You’ll have a bed in a modern and comfortable dorm, with the option of a male- or female-only room. Head to the shared bathroom to freshen up with a rain shower, sort out your clothes for the laundry service, then make your way to communal area to chat to friends over a free cup of tea or coffee.

Get work out of the way with a session at the iMac stations, or take your iPad to a workstation, connect to the free Wi-Fi and spend some time researching your latest assignment. When you’re done, you’ll find plenty of ways to relax: watch a show on the HDTV, show off your skills on the Playstation, kick back on the massage chair or meet friends on the 15th floor terrace to chat about your day and admire the skyline views.

There are residents’ events most days, so you’ll never be short of things to do. If you’d rather have a quiet night in, cook up your favourite food in the shared kitchen then crawl into bed to stream a movie or catch up with your reading for class.
