Residence staff understand the issues that students face and will be happy to help you with anything, or just offer a friendly face to talk to. You’ll also have access to a free helpline where you can get support and advice. If you’d like an extra helping hand, we offer a special support package for an additional cost.

Facilities

You’ll have everything you need for a successful study experience at this Glasgow student residence, including access to a quiet study area that’s ideal for solo or group projects, as well as bike storage and a laundry room.

Social life

The residence offers premium social facilities like a TV room where you can watch Netflix and Amazon Prime, a video games console and an external courtyard where you can spend time outside in the summer. There are also regular social events you can take part in, so it’s easy to make friends.

Security

There are security doors, cameras and a helpful on-site reception and wellbeing team available to help you at any time.

What’s included

It’s easy to manage your budget as all utilities like water and electricity are included in your rent, as well as high-speed WiFi and any maintenance costs. If you’re a Kaplan Pathways student, you’ll also receive a free standard bedding pack. All other students may add this to their booking for a small fee.

Important information

The Kaplan Living Glasgow – Old Dumbarton Road building will be undergoing remedial works to the exterior during the 24/25 and 25/26 academic years, expected to last until the summer of 2026. The works involve building safety improvements to the external walls, which may at times be noisy. Works will usually only take place during normal weekday operational hours to ensure there is minimal impact on residents living in the building, and we will do everything possible to limit disruption from noisy work during important time periods such as weeks when exams take place. There are lots of study facilities close to Kaplan Living, and staff will be able to provide information and directions. Should you have any questions regarding these works or require further information.
