I chose Landale House because the rooms felt like proper rooms - not halls. Whilst this may not be the most socialized accommodation, it has been perfect for me. I can walk to campus and am still close to the center without living in a busy atmosphere. It is so close to transport links and supermarkets/shopping center. The staff have been so helpful and any issues have been resolved immediately. Enjoyed the experience that much I have re-booked for next year!

My room is so small and faces to north. But the park, buses, undergrounds, TESCO extra and Decathlon are sooooooo convenient. If you are an art student, I do not recommend you this because the desk in your room is too small to do any creative experiment on it. Overall, it's really good value for money.

Basically it's a great building but it's in an industrial estate next to a cemetary.

Too expensive for what you get. False advertisment... Pool table has never worked! Dead when it comes to social life and Uber drivers can never find the place as it's awkwardly located.

The first thing that's an issue with this accommodation is the price. It is extremely overpriced for the size of some of the rooms, and in order to get the money for smaller rooms they've put a TV in them so they can justify you paying more than someone with a bigger room. The kitchen in my flat didn't have enough space for everyone to store their food and utensils and none of them have a table with chairs, just a bench with some stools. Many friends in the building have had problems with heating not working, broken showers, broken sinks and one block of the building had mice, which is still being resolved. The staff are friendly and helpful when they can but the management isn't great. It's a great building for meeting people and during the first few months I met everyone that lived here. Everyone was very welcoming and we still meet up in the common room from time to time for parties. Mansion Wharf have organised a Halloween and Christmas party which were fun. The location is great with easy access to the University and Central London. Although I love the location I'm glad to move out, you can feel very isolated there at times because it's so far away from the other accommodation.

If you love cold water, dirty water, thin walls, 1960s builds, poor security, lack of washing machines, single glazing, unreliable wifi, infestations, filthy kitchens and 24/7 noise then this is the place for you.

    - My room had someone living in it when I arrived - I had to live in a smaller room without a reduction in rent for two weeks before re-moving all my stuff back into my actual room. - Whilst living in this temporary room, the cleaners were getting ready for new students to arrive. They (the cleaners) stole a bag of my bananas from my cupboard, a tea towel and one of my flatmates pans. - Mid way through the year our shower was blocked for two weeks. Once it was unblocked the boiler broke down for another week. - Management put in place this 'treat friday,' scheme. For a good few weeks they'd just place crates of slimming world milkshakes in the common room. - I had to sleep with ear defenders as my upstairs neighbours would play fifa until four in the morning. - A response from management in regards to noise complaints took just over a month. In the contract you sign an agreement stipulating 'quiet hours.' These aren't enforced at all. - Someone I knew living on the ground floor had actual raw sewage leak their entire flat. It was easily the worst, most expensive halls of accommodation I've ever lived in. I couldn't figure out if Landale House were incompetent or just didn't care.
