You’ll find it easy to get to class at universities in central London from Therese House. City University and The University of the Arts are both within 20 minutes on foot, while you can use nearby tube station Barbican to get to others like LSE, King’s College, UCL and Imperial easily. After class, go over your notes as you refuel with crispy bacon-topped pancakes at J+A Café, or walk 10 minutes to the local Sainsbury’s supermarket to stock up on supplies.
After a busy day, head back to your apartment to rustle up a bite to eat. Cook dinner on the hob in the kitchen area, and sit down to eat your meal at the dining table. When you’re done, you can make a start on your assignments at the desk in your room. Check your deadlines on your pinboard, grab your textbooks from the shelf and connect to the free Wi-Fi to do your research.
After a good study session, you can join your neighbours in the common room to chat about your day, or connect your monitor screen to your laptop to work and use your IPTV service. Then, head to the on-site laundry facilities to catch up on your washing, or return to your modern apartment to freshen up with a shower in your ensuite bathroom.
On-site management and maintenance teams are available between 9am and 5:30pm if you have any problems, and there’s also a 24-hour emergency hotline. All bills and contents insurance are included in your rent, so you won’t have to worry about managing your finances, and you’ll have peace of mind with secure door entry and CCTV systems. Cycle storage is also available if you have a bike.
