Walk across Castle Park from your student accommodation and take the bus for 20 minutes to University of Bristol. Shop the independent stores on Gloucester Road and, when the sun shines, head down to the harbour and see an exhibition at M Shed. Sip local cider as you try out the city’s pubs and bars, then go and see a gig at The Exchange or O2 Academy. Spend Sundays browsing Harbourside Market or going for brunch at Bakers & Co.
