Storthes is University of Huddersfield recommended accommodation that is like no other. You can make the most of the on-site bar, Coffee Shop, and events space all on your doorstep. Treat yourself to our delicious brunch during a study break at The Venue, or if you don’t fancy leaving your room then get it delivered straight to your block door! There’s plenty of opportunities to make friends through our lively events programme. There’s something for everyone, from quiz nights to UV parties to Archery and more.
Our facilities also include a free on-site gym, laundrette, on-site shop, welfare service, and more. It’s the perfect home away from home to get the most out of University.
Although we are a short distance from the University, we offer a free bus service for students to get to the university and the town centre. It’s really regular and only takes 15 minutes, plus it stops at Morrisons so that you can do your big shop!
Storthes has a huge community feel and it’s super easy to see a friendly face and to make friends. On top of that, we have a friendly reception team and security to support you whilst living with us. We also have friendly student Block Reps who take on the responsibility of making sure that everyone is having a good time and pass any feedback back to us.
