You’ll never be late for class when you live at Nido St James. Your new home is right next door to the University of Strathclyde’s Lord Hope building, and the main entrance and Student Union are five minutes’ walk from your door. Glasgow Caledonian University is a 12-minute walk away, and you can stroll to Glasgow School of Art and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in around 15 minutes. When you want to explore Glasgow, it’s a 15-minute walk to the nearest underground station.
After a long day of lectures, you’ll look forward to coming back home to Nido St James to relax. You can choose to live in an ensuite room with shared kitchen facilities, or a self-contained studio. Whatever you decide, you’ll have lots of opportunity to get to know other students as the entire ground floor is dedicated to social spaces. Clear your head with a workout in the gym, chat to your neighbours in the communal lounge or get involved in a tournament in the games room. There’s also a cinema room, where you can get together with friends to watch sporting events or enjoy a movie.
When you need to focus on your studies, the free high-speed Wi-Fi makes it easy to work in your room. If you’d rather brainstorm with friends, there are study rooms available on the ground floor.
You won’t have to worry about a thing as all the practicalities have been taken care of: utilities are included in your rent, and there’s an onsite laundry and 24-hour CCTV.
