Begin your morning with a local Three Tree coffee from Super Magnolia Bakery, then take a stroll across the lawns at W Jones Lane Memorial Park. Meet friends to ride the waterslides at Splash In The Boro waterpark, or play mini golf at The Clubhouse at Hackers, then refuel with a meatball sub from Jersey Mike’s Subs. In the evening, catch a show at the Center for Art and Theater or expand your horizons with an exhibition at the Averitt Center for the Arts. Don’t miss downtown Statesboro’s excellent restaurants – the shrimp and grits at 40 East Grill is a local favorite.

Make your home at 111 South and you can walk to Georgia Southern University in 15 minutes. If you have your own car, drive to Ogeechee Technical College in just five minutes, and East Georgia State College in 45.

Start your day with a swim in the pool and a Starbucks coffee on-site. If you have time to spare, stay in shape with a morning workout in the 24 hour on-site fitness center. You could even treat yourself to a session in 111 South’s free tanning booths.

When you return home after class, catch up with your roommates in your spacious apartment, which can come furnished or unfurnished. Freshen up with a hot shower in your private bathroom, then throw your clothes in your apartment’s washer dryer before choosing a new outfit from your walk-in closet.

If you’re hungry, make a snack in your fully equipped kitchen, then sit at your breakfast bar to eat. Make the most of the free, high-speed Wi-Fi and call family back home on Skype, then head to your room where you’ll have the peace and quiet you need to focus on your studies. When you’re done, head down to the computer lounge to print notes ready for class.

With work out of the way, head for the media center to play on the gaming stations, or join friends at the water volleyball court. Take a dip in 111 South’s tempting lazy river, then cook dinner on the outdoor grills, cooking meat you picked up at Statesboro’s farmers’ market. It’s easy to manage your budget, because all utilities are included in your rent.
