Top Restaurants in Perth – Student.com City Guide

The capital of Australia and with over two million people living there, surely there must be some gastronomic treats waiting for you in the city? The good news – you will be spoilt for choice, with all different cuisines and taste buds catered for. Because we love food so much, we decided to quiz some local students to tell us their round-up of the best restaurants in Perth.

The Raw Kitchen

As Fremantle restaurants go, this one is pretty awesome. Imagine a bright warehouse space of exposed brick and rafters, and raw food and vegan dishes that would please everyone. You would have to check the menu twice if you didn’t know this place was vegan friendly, you won’t get any dry tofu chunks here!

Lil’ Toastface

Want something that won’t break the bank but will fill you up? Lil’ Toastface will become your new best friend. Perfect for a carbs, cheese and coffee fix, this chilled out place is ideal if you want to grab something to eat to catch-up with friends. Bonus is nothing is over $10, winner.

Nasi Lemak Korner

If authentic Malaysian food at super affordable prices is what you are looking for, then look no further than this international delight. Priding themselves in being a slice of Malaysia in Perth, the team are super knowledgeable of all the dishes and can easily guide you if you don’t know which dish to start with.

Mack Daddy’s

Taking inspiration from the other side of the world is Mack Daddy’s. There’s not much to say apart from you can have a giant slice of authentic New York style pizza for as little as $6. Some say it’s the best pizza in Perth, and based on what we have tried we would probably have to say the same.

Toastface Grillah

Okay, so don’t blame us for our love of grilled cheese, also we couldn’t finish a foodie round-up without mentioning this treat of a place. Tucked away in the city, you certainly wouldn’t expect this place to be bursting full of flavour. Our choice is the ultra-cheesy toasties option of triple cheese (only $7) or if you are feeling fancy then give the brie & jam a try for $8.

Now we are insane hungry and wishing we were in Perth right now to enjoy all the awesome places to eat. If you are heading to Perth and are looking for your perfect home away from home whilst you study at university, then don’t forget to check-out what’s on offer here
