You will have full and exclusive use of the 2nd floor (Japanese count) of a renovated house, with 1 bedroom, 1 living-dining room, 1 kitchen, a WC-bathroom and a balcony. Both rooms are made with traditional tatamis and sliding doors.
The living-room can be used as a 2nd bedroom if you wish to share the apartment (but there is no key on the rooms' doors so you should invite only trusted friend or family). It is useable as well by couples with 1-2 small children (Japanese futon available).
It is fully equipped (refrigerator, oven, laundry machine, TV), and all consomption charges are included (Wifi, water, gaz, electricity, in a reasonnable amount).
7min walk from Tofuku-ji station (JR line & Keihan line) convenient for Kyoto university, Ryukoku university, etc, as well as for sightseeing:
- on JR line:
- 1 station from the main JR Kyoto station
- goes to Fushimi-inari, Nara and Uji
- on Keihan line:
- 2 stations from Fushimi-inari; goes down to Osaka in the South
- 2 stations from Kiyomizu-dera, 3 from Gion, and connects to the subway in the North (between Westside Kyoto and Biwa lake).
