If you’re studying at Kyoto Gakuen University, you’ll be hard pressed to live more conveniently located than City Palace Kyoto Sanjo – you’ll be living right next to campus. Your accommodation is also centrally located close to Kyoto’s other major universities. Walk eight minutes to the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, or stroll to Kyoto Koka Women’s University in 19 minutes. With your nearest bus stop one block away and your closest subway station a short walk from home, you can also reach the Kyoto University Yoshida campus in under an hour, or cycle there in half the time.
After class, lock up your bike in the storage racks, walk through the secure front entrance and ride the elevator up to your studio apartment. Drop your bag and textbooks on your desk, turn on the air conditioning and make yourself a tasty snack from the bar fridge or pantry. With an upstairs loft that doubles as your sleeping quarters, you have plenty of space downstairs to relax.
Freshen up in your private bathroom and rifle through your wardrobe for an outfit or grab clean clothes from the washer dryer, before meeting up with friends at any of the nearby restaurants. Try Chiwa Sum for Teppenyaki or stroll five minutes south to Muten Kura Sushi. When it’s time to head home, you’ll be glad to come back to your peaceful pad, climb up into your cosy loft bed and sleep the night away.
