The ESG in Aachen also has an international residence hall with 50 places.
Students from many cultures, religious affiliations, sexual identities, and disciplines live here under the same roof as the ESG's community rooms. We reject any form of disadvantage and discrimination, especially based on ethnic origin, gender, sexual identity, religion or belief, or disability (see Section 1 of the AGG).
What we offer:
The rooms are fully furnished and all decorated in the same style, but vary in size. Each room is equipped with a bed, wardrobe, shelves, desk, and chair. Each room also has a sink with a mirror. Furthermore, each room has internet access via a LAN socket, and there is a comprehensive Wi-Fi network. The rooms are spread over four floors. These floors also house large shared kitchens and bathrooms with showers and toilets. Each kitchen is equipped with a large kitchen table for comfortable meals. Each kitchen also has two ovens and eight hotplates. Each resident has their own cupboard, drawer, and refrigerator compartment. Each floor is individually designed and has its own color.
- A cozy shared kitchen on each floor
- A beautiful garden with a barbecue grotto at Lousberg
- The room of silence
- A large south-facing terrace
- A party cellar and several study rooms
- A diverse, intercultural and interreligious community
- Short distances to all ESG events
Location: Although the residence hall is just a minute's walk from the green area, the location is still very central. On foot, you can reach the Ponttor in 5-10 minutes, the RWTH Aachen University's main lecture hall in 10-15 minutes, and the town hall in 15-20 minutes. Shopping facilities are also nearby.
