Housing Rules (Highlights):
- Cleaning: No shoes indoors. Garbage must be disposed of daily. Dishes must be washed after each use, and kitchen floors must be kept clean. Showers limited to 15 minutes during mornings. Bathrooms should be cleaned after each use. Consumables such as soap and toilet paper must be provided by tenants. Failure to meet cleaning standards may result in a professional cleaning fee (CAD 100) deducted from the deposit.
- Noise & Electronics: Keep all devices at a respectful volume, especially after 11 PM.
- Guests: Visitors are welcome for social activities but must leave by 11 PM. Unauthorized overnight stays incur CAD 250 per night. Overnight guest stays may only be approved in writing for family or under special circumstances with prior roommate consent.
- Smoking: Strictly prohibited in all parts of the building, including balconies and rooftops. Smoking must take place at least 9 meters from entrances.
- Parties: Loud parties are not permitted. Tenants may reserve a Party Room in other Harrington buildings for larger gatherings.
- Internet: WiFi is provided for personal use only. Illegal downloading or streaming may result in eviction without refund.
- Mail & Packages: Units come with mailbox access. Packages may be delivered directly or held at the concierge (if available).
