Founded as the research wing of the Royal Marsden Hospital, the first hospital in the world dedicated to the study of cancer, the ICR is now a key battleground in the long struggle to find a cure. Its main London base is in Chelsea, near student accommodation in Notting Hill, Marylebone and Southwark. The Institute’s other campus is based at the Royal Marsden in Sutton, on the very edge of Greater London - student residences in Kingston are just one bus journey away.
