Live at Kelvingrove House amongst the bohemian cafes of Glasgow’s trendy West End, a short hop from the magnificent Kelvingrove Park
It’s easy to get to class from Kelvingrove House. Cut through the park for a beautiful 10-minute walk to the University of Glasgow, or arrive at Glasgow School of Art in less than 15 minutes. It’s not much further to the Royal Conservatoire, and only 25 minutes on foot to Glasgow Caledonian University. You can even hop on a bus across town and reach the University of Strathclyde in under 20 minutes.
After a long day at university, head home to Kelvingrove House, tidy your bags into the underbed storage and relax on your three-quarter sized bed. After you’ve recharged your batteries, wander into the kitchen to fix yourself something tasty for dinner, then eat in the dining area.
Later on, sit down at your big curved desk to crack on with your latest assignment. With Wi-Fi available throughout the property and wired access points for when you need a faster connection, it will be easy to get work done and to Skype friends and family back home. When you’re done, curl up with a book on the comfy armchair when you want to relax. Freshen up in your private ensuite before settling down for a good night’s sleep in your comfy bed.
You will have plenty of opportunity to socialise thanks to regular games nights, karaoke and other student events. Pop down to the common room to see who’s around or to watch a movie on the large-screen projector. If you’re feeling competitive, grab a cue and rack up a game of pool in the games room.
There’s 24 hour security and CCTV for complete peace of mind, along with an on-site launderette to stay on top of your washing. To keep life simple, all bills are included in your rent.
