Tanglewood Garden Apartments

the manager of the apartments is rude. always in a bitchy mood. there is seasonal bug infestations, they make you deal with it yourself. they never fix anything in the apartment even when you continue to ask. the a.c. in the master bedroom was not working for years and the occupant is older and cannot be in the extreme tx heat. the manager walked through and felt the heat in the middle of summer and said eh feels fine to me, and left. the apartments are old, never get updated. the pool is rarely open during summer. the laundry mat washer and dryers are always dirty and don't work. the places reeks of weed, spilling in from neighbors. my car has been broken into, and the tires stolen, when asked if they have surveillance footage she said no. there is barely any parking for visitors and they tow your guests car within an hour or less of being there if all visitor spots are taken. mailbox was broken for months before she finally fixed it. there is just a plethora of reasons to never move in here.

Hello everyone, I do not normally take the time to write a review, but I am really disturbed... Just wanted to share my quick interaction with the front desk lady today. I had maybe four questions to ask her about the complex. First of all when I walked in I was greeted with a scowl from the lady. As I began to talk to her and ask my first question she was very short and rude with her responses. Couldn't even tell me if there would be a two bedroom opening anytime before or during the month of May because that's when my lease is finished. My last question before leaving was did Tanglewood accept people with a criminal background? And she, very hatefully I felt, answered me with a definite NO! None no criminal history at all. Wow!!!! Now my 79 yr old friend has DUI on her background from yes ago and I think it's just ridiculous that Tanglewood Apt complex, as old and run down as it is would accept people with a non-violent criminal history. Anyways, the lady working the office at 2:30pm on Friday 13, In March 2026 was very very rude and mean and just had a nasty demeanor. So sorry if she was having a bad day, but don't take it out on potential rent prayers. Thank you for listening.
