They gave us a used apartment because they screwed up and gave us the wrong apartment and then charged us a crazy amount of damages on move out that were the same damages when we moved in and I provided proof of those damages through pictures but they would not remove the charges. Do not move in here and do not trust them. They also had my daughter’s car towed illegally when it was parked legally and we had to pay to get it back to the apartment. The apartment said they had nothing to do with it but it is a contract they have with the towing company. Find another apartment complex to rent with. I’ll have to take them to court to dispute the charges.

Living at The Outpost Apartments has honestly been a really good experience. The apartments are nice and have plenty of space, and the location is super convenient for campus and everything nearby. The staff is friendly and actually helpful, which isn’t always the case with student housing. Maintenance is quick, and the community events and amenities are a nice bonus. Overall, it’s been a comfortable, stress-free place to live, and I’d definitely recommend The Outpost to other students.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Please read these recent reviews and do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. The apartment my daughter was in was infested with roaches, it is impossible to get rid of them as the situation is so bad. Also my daughter agreed to sign a lease here after subleasing from someone on the condition that her and the friend she was referring would not be our in the same unit as the girls she was living with previously one of them in specific. Out of nowhere they were notified this girl and another from that unit would be moving in. Once this happened I called and they assured me that one of them would only be there for a week and the other would be out asap but they took her out of her current unit because she was uncomfortable with her current roommate as she was not a student. She was never moved out and when my daughter and her friend moved out, they took out all of their belongings as well as their trash but did not touch that girl's things. They are now getting charged outrageous move out fees for things that don't even belong to them. They are also getting charged for water damages which were caused from the girl that was only there temporarily, she caused a flood in her restroom which leaked out into the common areas. Needless to say they caused a great amount of unnecessary stress on my daughter and after this bill we received we are going to be seeking legal council.

I recently moved out of my apartment at The Outpost Waco Apartments and wanted to share my personal experience. During my time there, there were a couple of situations that made my stay difficult—including an instance where a snake was accidentally released into my unit and a period where the air conditioning was not working for several days during 90+°F weather. When I moved out, I was charged $188.15 for cleaning and damages. While I understand move-out charges can be common, I was disappointed that these fees were applied given the issues I experienced while living there. My interactions with management during the resolution process also left me feeling that communication could have been more respectful and service-oriented. I recommend that prospective tenants carefully review the lease terms, ask detailed questions about maintenance response times, and get clarity on the move-out process before signing.
