I am sharing this review to make the Waco community aware of a serious experience my family had with an individual currently employed by this organization by the name John Olvera, Jr. Prior to his employment here, this individual was contracted to complete renovation work for my mother totaling $13k. Despite repeated assurances, the majority of the contracted work was never completed. Communication became increasingly inconsistent and was eventually completely abandoned. I encourage this org to exercise due diligence and for the community members to do the same when entering into contracts. We have been put into a deep mental and financial distress situation and do not wish this on anyone!!

-Katelyn Sharp, NeighborWorks Waco was wonderful working with Im a wonderful tenant but I stayed in my last place for years so when getting a home from her I had so many questions I’ve never seen so much paperwork for a house lol but when I say helpful holiday break she still made sure to get back to me quickly and any day of the week your not left in the blind, if you have any questions she quickly responds and helps you understand anything I’m a happy new tenant

The staff at Neighbor Works are incredible! They are so kind and helpful throughout the entire loan process. We are so excited to be purchasing our first home and could not have jumped into the housing market without assistance from this great program.
