really a bad room experience for me. Rooms infested with ants and roaches. Seems to be a very old apartment lacking proper maintenance. Rotten ceilings in the corridor and extremely old furniture in the apartment. I wish I never looked for a room online before coming here.

Pros: Very near to Baylor University. Quick response from staff regarding rental enquiry. Quick response for normal maintenance request Cons: Very old apartment. No option to pay the rent through online payment. Insect control is not effective. We bought some additional pest control to kill the insects. High chlorine content in the water. We were forced to buy a water filter to use that water for cooking. Need to pay an additional amount for laundry. They have some app for laundry payment. Don't expect it to work all the time. Requested for a carpet cleaning around two months back, no response yet.

Poorly managed super infested, even bombing and spraying myself and having exterminator come through, the roaches are so bad that they should just clean the entire complex with fire.. they kicked me out in a 24 hour notice to vacate i thought they said they were giving me more time to pay, i paid half, sorry i lost my job? Meanwhile dude across the way got away with months of non payment of full rent.. i never was late or short rent til then, do not give University Rentals your hard earned cash.. they wont use it towards the complex thats for sure. Not worth the low price i was paying 520 for 1br 1bath...again, the roaches.. and you randomly find laid roach reproductive pods dropped about countertops and such.. gross...ugh...

I rented here for five months on a sublease from Jan-May2017. I was coming from NY and the leasing lady initially seemed super nice. I was even told that I'd get a nice pro-rate for my first month. When I actually moved in, I was told that the lady had made a mistake and I'd have to pay the regular rate. Ok bet, no big deal. Now, the very night that I moved in, I was stunned to see that the place was infested with cockroaches, and the floor and counter were sticky. The stove was so dirty that it actually started smoking when I turned it on to see if it was working. The bathroom was in a poor state, the sick and toilet were dirty (more roaches floating in the toilet bowl water...gross) and in the bedroom closet there were old dirty socks and clothes left behind from the prior tenant. I rushed to target bombed the place with bug spray only too see more roaches crawling from the vents, down the walls. I'm not proud of this moment but I sat on my suitcases (the only safe place) and cried! Anyhow, when I asked that the apartment be cleaned, I was told that I would have to pay a fee for it. An exterminator came regularly for the bugs but the problem was never completely corrected. I redecorated the entire place and had to do a complete cleaning job that took hours. The kicker? When I told them I was leaving they said they'd have to inspect the apartment without me there and "mail me" my deposit. A month later a check came in the mail for only 30% of my security deposit... Moral of the story, check, double check and triple check a place you're thinking of moving into! Go on a bunch of tours and don't sign anything unless you're 110% sure. If you're introverted like me and was a 1b 1br, look around town, there are tons of other options! I'm going to drop some pictures below.
