Windmill Townhomes & Duplexes

I lived at windmill for 2 years and I cannot say enough good things about the complex!! The manager/owner is so helpful, honest and any maintenance was addressed and solved quickly!

Favorite place I've ever lived after switching apartment every year since I started college. Honestly heartbroken I had to move due to higher education. My time at Windmill was amazing and Mike is a great landlord. The neighborhood cats are just the icing on the cake.

Micheal is a very loyal property manager! He does a great job of communicating to his tenants and keeping them happy!

I loved living at Windmill Townhomes during college and appreciate it even more now that I’ve spent several years in a typical San Antonio apartment. I lived at Windmill from August 2013 to July 2018—through two degrees—and it really felt like home. The location is perfect: close to campus but on a quiet street. The floorplans are great—no one above or below you—and the units are homey without feeling small. For the age of the complex, everything was well-maintained, and maintenance was always quick and reliable. What I also appreciated (and really miss now) is that the landlord, Mike, didn’t tack on extra fees or inflate rent for “amenities” no one actually uses. There’s no gym, pool, or dog park—just a solid, comfortable place to live without the nonsense. I’d go back in a heartbeat if I could find something like it again. Also, the community cats are so friendly, and my cat looooved seeing them through the glass doors! If you feed them and see one without an ear tip, please get it TNR’d. (Sorry, Mike—I was feeding the cats, but at least I made sure they couldn’t populate further?)
