Westfield Apartments has been an amazing place to live. The front office staff is outstanding — they respond quickly, are incredibly friendly ans helpful, and always make you feel taken care of. Their maintenance team is just as impressive. They stay on top of every request and are always on standby whenever something is needed. Great job to everyone at Westfield for creating such a professional, welcoming, and well-managed community!

This will be a little bit of a lengthy post, so bear with me. But it’s my honest opinion (I will update once i move out)- I thoroughly enjoy living here at Westfield. i’ve been here for about a year already, and I can’t really think of any negatives. For a first apartment its pretty good, and i personally feel i got lucky with the unit I have. I feel like all opinions are valid, but your experience here can change depending on what unit you get stuck with. The unit I have does have some wear and tear- BUT I never came into this thinking I was going to get some luxury apartment or whatever. Its older so it makes sense. But for the price? It’s PRETTY good compared to a lot of the surrounding areas. I still think it’s definitely a good idea to tour your apartment before moving in! If you notice something, they will try to fix it. The best way to describe Westfield is a work in progress. Which is a GOOD thing. A lot of these apartment complex are very much “ you get what you get, just give us the money” but the staff has NEVER made me feel that way. They are always genuinely kind, and will try and assist you as much as they can. For me personally, the longest I had to wait for maintenance was probably a day and a half. Maintenance is pretty good too, they try and get to you as fast as they can (they get busy thats life). I’ve heard horror stories where people had to wait months for maintenance at their complex to come help them. I’ve never had that issue here (thankfully) another thing that has kept me here is the fact they are very understanding when it comes to financial hardship. Not only do they offer scholarships to residence living here to help with housing cost, they also have payment plans that you can talk to them about. The few times I needed help I was NEVER met with any hostility or negativity. As I said, Office staff is very kind and they will help you out if they can. I don’t really attend the events they throw as much but I do think it’s very nice that they have things like grocery bingo, movie night, or tenant appreciation week. They also have free snacks in the office, and this amazing coffee machine that has quite literally saved me so much money because I make lattes from home now lol. All this to say, if you’re someone who’s on a budget, not picky, enjoys the more quiet neighborhoods, and willing to work with a little bit of a fixer-upper, Westfield is for you (Ft my orange who loves his home too 🏠)

Lived here a few years back HANDS DOWN WILL BE ONE OF THE WORST APARTMENTS I EVER LIVED IN. The lack of help for Matinence issues, the constant broken ac, the tub that wasn't clean and gave my husband and I athletes foot, the sketchy neighbors, the lack of upkeep. Never felt like home living here. Photos they display online are a scam your rental will not look like them. Make sure to have them walk you through the exact unit they are placing you in before signing anything

I have lived here for 9+ months and have had a wonderful experience. The complex is older but don't let that fool you. The staff/management are super friendly and easy to connect with. The maintenance crew is record fast with response times and have easily fixed whatever minor issues I've had. There is fun community and good benefits: activities and connection of some kind on a regular basis (i.e. Pizza days, pottery painting, scary movie night, holiday celebrations, etc), nice little pool with outdoor grills/furniture, courtesy officer, good wifi/internet, etc. Nice to be someplace where the staff obviously cares and is working hard to make the place even better. Thanks Westfield: 10/10 recommend!

I' really love this place! This experience hasn't been like other student housing here in San Marcos. I really can't stop raving about Westfield to anyone looking for an affordable 1bd apartment. The office and maintenance staff is really amazing. They don't seem to have a huge turnover rate like other complexes I've lived in, so you see familiar faces whenever you have to stop and/or have someone come out to take care of something in your unit. They get to work orders promptly and always let you know ahead of time if they need to enter your unit. I love that the renovations they've done to the units while I've been here -- new appliances, cabinets, fixtures, and blinds really make it feel like a whole new place. UPDATE- Apt complex is nice, but unless you plan on renewing your lease 6-8months in advance you will be bombarded with calls/texts to renew and told that your only option would be a transfer renewal when you call to let them know heater won’t turn off in unit.
