Great rent price. You get what you pay for. Cockroaches? Yes. Terrible wifi? Yes. You save money from rent, but after a hard day and you wanna watch a movie or play games? Good luck. You will randomly walk into your kitchen and find a cockroach (no matter how committed to a clean house you are) and if you have a PC you absolutely will struggle with internet connection. In fact, my ethernet has not worked since the day I moved in. Raid on standby, patience with wifi and reading books or going straight to bed is a trait you must have to stand living here. Would rate 2 stars but giving 3 stars because rent price is genuinely affordable as of February 2026. $650 after utilities + fees per month in a 3 bedroom. I did resign but that's because I'm a trooper and broke. Good luck have fun.

Warning: The management at The Grove will blatantly lie to you, and will charge you hundreds of dollars unfairly, and prevent you from paying rent current apartment, while ignoring every attempt you make to resolve issues. When I lived at The Grove, my apartment experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The unit was disgusting when I moved in the dishwasher was full of mold and didn’t work until it was replaced a month later, and the dryer was broken for about the same amount of time. But my real issue isn’t with the state of the apartment, it’s with the outright scam and abuse of power, by management. I was hit with nearly $300 in cleaning fees upon moving out, even though I left the apartment cleaner than I found it. I made sure everything was removed, all holes in the walls were filled, floors vacuumed, and every surface scrubbed. I did this because I knew management wouldn’t do it themselves and I refused to leave the next tenants with the disgusting mess I had to deal with. I was a good tenant, always paying rent on time and never causing any issues. I disputed these charges with emails and clear photographic evidence showing the apartment’s condition before and after my move-out. This is exactly what the grove management told me to do.Despite calling weekly for months, sending multiple follow-up emails, and even showing up in person multiple times after returning to town, I never received a single response to my dispute. Now, months after moving out, they have sent the charges to collections without ever addressing my dispute. To make matters worse, they are now blocking me from paying rent at my current apartment, which is owned by the same company, forcing me to get late fees through no fault of my own. I was explicitly told over 20 times that I would not be charged as long as my dispute was open. This is absolutely unacceptable. The Grove’s management has ignored my dispute, lied repeatedly, and is now actively not allowing me to pay rent at my current apartment. They are attempting to force me to pay unfair, fabricated cleaning charges without even explaining what I supposedly owe. This level of lying and disrespect is outrageous.

Experienced so many problems within one month of living here. First unit they tried to give me had mold and all they did was paint over it. Maintenance team is trash. A/C unit does not work well, complained and requested for it to be fixed.. just for them to tell me there’s nothing wrong & when im the one experiencing the issue. Resident portal sucks.. took them awhile to apply concessions to my account after requesting them to update. I requested for my toilet to be fixed Sunday when it came slightly broken when I moved in.. still no update when they told me it would be resolved “at the end of the day” … it’s been 3 days. I see the maintenance team all the time sitting on the carts on their phones more than actually doing stuff. Requested for pest control because of ants I’m starting to see. I have been patient with the team but it’s starting to be annoying. Please reconsider moving here.

I moved into The Grove Apartments in July, and my experience has been very disappointing. When I first moved in, there was visible damage in the living room, including mold that had already started growing. I was told the management would take care of it, but they never followed through—despite my roommate and I cleaning the entire apartment thoroughly ourselves. They still charged me $529, which felt completely unfair considering the condition of the unit when we moved in. On top of that, the staff was not friendly or helpful at all throughout the process. My honest advice: avoid The Grove Apartments. They are quick to charge you but slow (or unwilling) to fix issues they promised to handle.

I lived at The Grove and my experience was disappointing from start to finish. Upon move-in, it was clear the apartment hadn't been cleaned, and numerous damages hadn't been fixed. My toilet was broken, and after a month of waiting for maintenance to respond to my work order, I had to fix it myself. The A/C filter hadn't been changed in ages and was covered in dust and mold. We found smudges and handprints on the walls, Nerf bullets on top of the kitchen cabinets, and hair in the bedrooms and bathrooms. There were moldy clothes from previous residents in the washer and dryer room, a random hole in the ceiling, a hole in my door, dog hair on the living room furniture, and the carpet was filthy. Despite these issues, I’ve been charged over $200 for “cleaning” and “damage” fees after moving out, which I find completely unjustified given the state of the apartment when I moved in. I was also charged for filling holes in the wall, even though The Grove's Instagram and front desk staff advised doing so. I understand some charges but being charged so much after my roommate and I moved into a moldy and damaged apartment is ridiculous. I have emailed management multiple times regarding these charges and have never received a reply, which is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I expect them to acknowledge my dispute and refund the payment as I left the apartment much cleaner than when I moved in. Maintenance was subpar, the pool was green and unusable for most of my stay, and we had no access to the gym for the first three months. To top it off, there was never a fire extinguisher on our floor, which is a serious safety concern. Overall, I would not recommend living here. The management does not seem to care about proper maintenance, resident safety, or communication, and the charges upon move-out feel like a scam.
