If you ever want to do homework or work from home you should skip this place. They have a very shady contract with the single most incompetent ISP in history. You will always have connectivity issues, even when doing things that mobile signal can handle instantly. You are NOT ALLOWED to purchase your own internet. Maintenance has improved dramatically since the new acquisition but still seemingly understaffed. Amenities have improved in quality due to the renovation but their availability has been extremely inconsistent, and that isn't entirely the management's fault as some people are (apparently)breaking glass by the pool. Predatory and extremely unpleasant tow companies prowl the apartment complex at all hours of the day to tow visitors' cars. Visitor parking appears substantial but it is entirely parallel parking and is frequently completely occupied. Residents have plenty of parking but management refuses to allocate more visitor parking, despite the towing being a constant issue due to the lack of availability. If you want to have family or friends over for the weekend look elsewhere or drive them yourself if you can. Many clauses of the lease make no sense and are enforced inconsistently, leading to irritating situations where it's difficult to tell if you're going to be in violation of something. This is almost certainly completely intentional. Verbal information from employees and emails will directly contradict each other and the threatening tone of the staff in such discussions does very little to improve customer relations. This did not affect my score -- or it would be one star -- but I'm going to mention this anyways because it may indicate a potential structural issue that may come up elsewhere. We had a hole in our ceiling leaking moldy yellow water into our apartment with cats. It took prior management almost three months to fix it despite us contacting them about it once a week at minimum. I don't think it's fair to blame the current ownership for it but to this day we still have one of the holes in our ceiling above our kitchen, and that still has not been resolved in the year since the new owners took over. Thankfully no more leaks yet. This building used to be one of the cheapest in the area. Now they've increased the rent to a frankly hilarious degree. This place is NOT WORTH what they're asking for new renters, so unless you're a current resident the rent is far more expensive than deserved for outdated and faulty appliances, worse internet than the gas station up the street (that you can do literally nothing about) and inconsistently-available amenities. Still, new ownership seems to be making small improvements so I'd like to see what they're able and willing to do. Just from a distance. Without giving them another cent.

I really like living here and the renovations look so good! I'm also lowkey excited to see all the new people moving in because things were way to wild at the beginning of the school year. The vibe has definitely changed for the better it's quieter and feels a lot more welcoming than it did before
