Quality Inn San Marcos

Very unprofessional! Called before booking to make sure we could check out late and they said we could and also confirmed it when checking in. They said both times we could check out late! On our last day we got a call telling us that they would charge us extra for a late checkout and said that they have no recollection of us asking for a late checkout and wanted to charge us! We had to stop our fun day and go pack up so they wouldn’t charge us! Untrained employees who don’t know what they are doing and the owner is no help!

Stains on walls and doors towels and bedsheets ironing board. Room smelled musty stains all over mattresses. Hairs from previous ppl in bathroom. Breakfast was cold sausage and eggs were so cold and the coffee came out of a machine it tasted so bad. I like to stay at places with good breakfast but this place was not it. They even gave me powdered milk for my coffee. People were nice worked there but facility was not up to par. The family running the buisness is very nice. But thats it.

Save your money sleep in your car! I have a 27 Hour Dr. ahead of me and needed a good night sleep I couldn’t get one. The air conditioner did not work! I woke up at midnight completely drenched in sweat. I needed to leave at 3 o’clock in the morning. All I got from the front desk was I can put you. in a different room, but I can’t guarantee the air conditioning will work. I have never heard such a ridiculous thing at a hotel before! Save your money sleep in your car.
