Clean, nice double rooms with a comfortable floor shared bathroom. its location on campus is great, and it has a small kitchenette and a ping pong table to boot.

Can't believe this building is still standing. Your standard sub-standard dorm, but at least the view from #814 was incredible

Dorm is super old. Half the built-in drawers won't open. My biggest problem is that this building, or my floor at least, smells like a literal septic tank. The elevators are regularly broken. My roommate and I have each gotten stuck in them at least once. Other than that, it's just a dorm. Nothing great about it. Also there's only one outlet for the whole room. All I'll say is if you're thinking about living here because its cheap, please consider one of the other halls. It stinks. Literally.

Jackson hall is a coed dorm (women on one floor men one another). It's one of the original dorms at Texas State. My student's only complaint is that it is cold most of the time. My only complaint would be that there aren't any doors on the closets so you have to use to a shower curtain if you want to "close" your closet.

Rooms are super old and outdated. Drawers are hard to open, there is only 1 outlet, but for what it is it'll do the job. The only us side is the air conditioning was super awesome
