Great customer service! I took a tour and not only did I fall in love with the apartment i fell in love with the staff also! Diego took me on my tour and he was amazing he allowed me and my father to ask him any questions and he answered all of them! Overall great experience I will be moving in soon!

I’ve been a resident at this complex for two years now, and I can honestly say it’s been a great place to live. The property is well-kept, the amenities are solid, and the overall condition of the community has always been impressive. Anytime I’ve ever had a question or concern, the leasing office staff has been quick, helpful, and easy to work with. Since Camille stepped in as the new property manager, things have only improved. She’s attentive, organized, and truly cares about creating a better experience for residents. You can really feel the positive changes she’s making throughout the community. Highly recommend living here!

It was fine. Very overpriced, but if you like peace and quiet, this was a pretty good apartment for a college town. I had a one bedroom and the layout was pretty nice, but my AC broke probably around four times in the span of me living here. There were days where my apartment was 92° and no one came out to help. Eventually, they installed a window unit, but that leaked all over the floor causing mold. My sink also wasn’t caulked down, and the bathtub leaked to the point where it looked like someone pooed in it from the water damage. There’s a trail right next to the apartment which I wish I would’ve utilized more because it’s pretty nice, but other than that, the amenities are pretty meh. The gym is OK, and the pool gets the job done. My experience here was a 2.5/5. as far as San Marcos housing goes, this wasn’t the worst apartment, but that’s still not saying much.

Good luck living here! It wasn't the worst, it wasn't very clean at move in. The maintenance team is great and fast. My issue is the lack of communication and being charged improper fees at move-out. We all know complexes will do whatever they can to take money from you. I was charged cleaning fees for a bedroom in my unit that wasn't mine. They attached photos of my roommates bedroom and proceeded to charge me $87 in "cleaning" fees. Absurd. I emailed for OVER a month back and forth with a representative, providing proof and documents, but of course couldn't reach the property manager. Finally, a month and half later she responds with an underwhelming "solution". She says she will wave the "utility fees" that the apartment forgot to add to my account the last 3 months I lived there in exchange for me paying the incorrect fees. I asked how it is the residents fault if the apartment (manager) "forgot" to add my water bill to my account! She said she is only bringing it up because I am attempting to dispute improper fees. Does this make sense to anyone else? Im sure you can assume how this ended. Me paying $100 (after convince fee) in fees that were never mine, as well as not receiving my deposit back ;) Sad. Im disappointed to say the least. Anyways...be wary of who your going to have to dispute things with and be cautious of apartments trying to charge you for things you didn't do.

I’ve lived here for 2 years and I’m coming back for my 3rd because this place is fantastic. The Scenery is gorgeous and the staff specifically MaKenna, Jay, and Alexa are nothing but hospitable and helpful. The tenants here are also very sweet and the overall atmosphere is fantastic. I’d recommend anyone new to join the Dakota Ranch family
