Devon McCoy is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in real estate. He really genuinely seems to enjoy his job for the ethical pursuit of putting people into homes they can afford. This is going to be a lengthy review - so I’ll start by simply saying this - Devon McCoy at Hot Spots locating has my highest possible recommendation. You absolutely want to work with him!! My son was looking for an apartment near Texas State, and we were told by everyone that it wasn’t possible to do in mid-January. We were frustrated and defeated. I found Devon on Google, called him, and everything changed. He was upbeat and positive from the start! Devon is a WEALTH of knowledge about San Marcos, real estate, Texas State and apartment hunting. After a quick conversation (and without any pressure) he narrowed down our needs and went to work making calls. In less than an hour, we were out touring properties. He found THREE great properties that were in our budget and desired location. He knew everyone we worked with by name, he taught us a ton about the area and Texas State, and he found my son the perfect apartment. He also knew the answer to every one of our questions. He mapped out locations so we could see distances to various campus spots. He explained flood plains. He shared his own experiences living in San Marcos.
