I don't like doing a bad review. I been here 6 months and what I see, is that this place is no longer a senior living/nursing home because IT WOULD NOT PASS 'UP TO DATE STANDARDS' or Inspection for a nursing home. I've put multiple work orders in, I'm now half way through my lease, all my cabinets never clean and painted,(i had to clean them all) a lot of hinges are rusted and my window is still not fixed, its just getting worse. One side of the window that was replaced was not installed correctly, i have to cover it with tape because its halfway sealed incorrectly, bugs come in through the window. Pest control does not come by until you complain(pest control calendar not even followed, and if it was, just take a look at how often they will reach your unit) November i took a review down after they started working on things in my unit, BIG MISTAKE, I should have waited until they fixed everything first. Not to mention in the six month I been here, My floor has had only 1 washer & 1 or 2 dryers for a whole floor, 2nd & 3rd floor same thing almost. They fix up empty units, move people in, but don't take care of the ones who have already been living here. The managers & owner play the blame game There was two fires in other units next to mines, the smoke got a little inside the units, manager didn't give us a screen for our patio door & bed room window so we can air it out the next day. The fires were at night and NOT one smoke alarm went off. When there was a gas leak and many of us had headaches for two weeks, NOT one carbon monoxide alarm went off either. I still don't have a vent for my restroom, and I'm pretty sure this is mold in my ac vent. I have a couple big holes in my walls that were never patched up, roaches and gnats are problem, I see one to 4 roaches each and every morning just using the restroom.. My kids and I are stepping on roaches almost everyday at night, been 6 months here and when roaches are crawling on your tooth brush, kitchen counter, on your food in your microwave, on your brand new couch when you nap, having to check the toilet seat every time you sit down, that's why this review

I don’t know where to began…. I moved into this complex on August 9th… the agreement when I came to look at the property was that I would be living in the 2nd floor. When I came to drop off my money orders for my unit, I was then switched again to another unit without an explanation. Friday came and it was time to pick up my keys and was told my unit was #1__. So my unit was switched for a 3rd time all in one week. Again no explanation. I got no lease until 2 weeks later because I was told there was no ink for the printers. Immediately that same day of move on, my bedroom floor had water inside coming UP from the floorboards. Maintenance (Jesse) said they would come the next day to work on it because they had a dinner date . Days later he came and told me it was the Ac. 2 weeks later it was fixed I was told. Ac only works in bedroom and doesn’t blow much at all into the living room. My apartment smells like cigarettes so strong as if I am a smoker and stays on everything I own… I have been so sick with several upper respiratory infections due to the air quality in my unit cause of this. I have reported it to management ( several property managers) since my move in date. I have medical conditions and have stayed sick with a bad couch since move in date and I know it’s due to the cigarettes because the Hospital confirmed it. My stove did not work for over a month when I moved in- no gas was connected… . When it finally got connected- I started getting bad headaches a lot and my dad came over and said my flames should not be orange like that… he told me I had a gas leak. I verbally told management and put in a work order and was told it would be fix by MJ. And let’s not mentioned I only had 2 burners working on stove top. Others do not. ( to this day) going on 6 months living here. One night I awake to my apartment smelling like fire- and my unit is smelled with a burnt smelling smoke. Fire department came and there was a fire on 2nd floor. The smoke traveled into my unit. And I could not air it out because I had no screen door or screen on my window . I went into office next day and was told I would get a screen door … I never did. My neighbor went and got one a week later and placed it on my door to air out apartment. My sink had a leak I told MJ… and nothing happened until I call the office saying the water was pouring out like it was fully on…. And then I got a new faucet…. The water was leaking for months. Now here comes the worse part living here- I kept smelling gas and getting headaches, I finally went out door to door asking my neighbors if they smelled it too… and they all did. Protocol is you have the CPS and fire department come out to check it. But the maintenance man was sent to check. And I’m sorry but I don’t believe the maintenance man is certified in these protocols. He told me one unit was leaking…and the gas was shut off. Hours later CPS came and the nice guy told me I am the 6th unit to have a leak and that is just in my hallway. Gas was shut off to the building and a month goes by with no hot water- no Heat… no gas… couldn’t cook… couldn’t make my Thanksgiving meal… cold showers that made every nerve in my body hurt…. It was a nightmare. To hear my daughters scream while taking a shower because of how cold it was… it was horrible. I was stressed … depression kicked in with having to miss cooking my Thanksgiving feast… I was miserable . Flash to the current- 6 months here- My stove still only has 2 burners ( not a full operating stove) My unit stays smelling like chain smokers lives inside it, the smell stays on me and everything inside. My health has deteriorated more… oh and my Living room doesn’t get enough air . I am not happy anymore living here… I want to be … I really do… I’ve made good friends with several neighbors and we look out for each other. Except for the one who lives on the corner and was drunk and thought I called the cops on him for fighting with his girlfriend- so he confronted me and grabbed me twice while yelling at me. While neighbors witness this. I’m not happy here.

Walnut Manor Apartments Review 2025 Walnut Manor Apartments Review 2025 We moved into Walnut Manor a couple of years ago. We chose Walnut manor because they advertise it as “a quiet and peaceful community,” and that’s what attracted us here. Well, it is true, it has a mix of elderly residents and also middle age tenants. No noisy people drinking and partying in the parking lots or trouble makers running around. The building is older and does kind of remind you of a Manor, and like any older building it has charm and is very nice and comfortable. As far as maintenance, it is excellent, Imran really knows his stuff and is a true professional. After dwelling in several different apartments for thirty years we can tell. I also really love the additions to the staff the Manor has made. Lina and Carolina, have also added a wonderful and knowledgeable manager in Margret who is not only a very competent manager but also a true customer service professional with wonderful people skills. Everything, the Manor is doing makes for a great place to live. To sum this review up, Kudos, to all the Manor staff and especially to the excellent Management! P.S. If you want a quiet, peaceful, and lovely place to reside in, for yourself or for a loved one, then the Walnut Manor Apartments is for sure, a great place to live. F. Solis

I have nothing to say about Walnut Manor Apts except a good place to live. The apts are very nice, quiet and relaxing. The maintenance is really quick. They try to answer all requests for service as soon as they receive them. Management is very kind and willing to help. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to shopping. AC is great! Check it out. They are running specials you can't resist. 👍🏻😄

A Vibe sho nuff, old school building with a modern interior, everyone is pretty chill, they got 2 pianos, a pool table and a no nonsense manager (MJ) who’s very kind and understanding. She will work with you and make things happen regarding any situation.
