The Residences at La Cantera

My wife & I love living here. Theresa and her team are great & very helpful. They really bring us together by hosting monthly resident events that we all enjoy attending & getting to know our neighbors.

I’ve had four different encounters with three golden doodles and one chihuahua off leash on the actual property (and off) and have had the dogs come up to my dog at least once or more. The apartment complex property manager need to do a better job ensuring leash and safety is followed. Animal control has been contacted as well. Tenant rights will be followed up on as it it frustrating issue that has been going on aside from it being brought up multiple times from other tenants as well.

I was so excited to move to this luxury community mostly due to the convenient access to all things “La Cantera”. So many things went wrong during my move in that prevented my “luxury move in” experience. It was chaotic to say the least. Unfortunately I was not able to view my actual unit before move in due to occupation. I love my 3rd floor space except for the bathroom area which looks/feels like a cheap motel space. My until was “completely” painted and there is splatter all over my entire space, including floors and appliances. My refrigerator has dents and scrapes all over it, and my washer had to be replaced 3 times due to a balancing issue. I had no working washing machine for the first week I lived here. The hallways are disgustingly dirty with trash debris and BROKEN GLASS that had been there for at least two weeks. The trash chute room always has trash bags piled up and it smells terrible. The garage has trash laying around resembling a dirty parking lot. I have also noticed there are what seems aggressive dogs that live here. I have been barked at and lunged at 3 times near the elevators. I am a dog lover!! I question the screening they do with these animal owners. The new access apps they have for building entry do not work half the time and I wait on someone to open the door that connects my hallway to the garage for me. So unsafe!! Needless to say, I cannot wait for my lease to be fulfilled! It’s a shame because this property could be so fabulous!

I have lived at The Residences at La Cantera going on 11 yrs. Property mgrs. have come and gone . Some good . Some bad . Theresa our new property mgr. is so nice and welcoming . She is always ready to listen to any concerns you may have . She really cares about the tenants. Since she has been property mgr. this place has improved immensely. Amenities are very peaceful and relaxing . Feels like you are on vacation everyday . Love our neighborhood. So many things to do . Responsiveness of our maintenance team is great . The leasing staff is always ready to help you .

I love the staff everyone’s so easy to talk to and very accommodating. Joanna, Becca And Javier are just so on top of it. I lived at another place very near to this apartment and they just didn’t keep up with the cleaning in the building not our apartment. And in here the aesthetics are so pretty and they just take a lot of care of their property.
