The Republic Apartments

These people are money hungry, they will charge you for everything they can and will not be accountable for anything. They are completely careless of their residents, no cameras, awful rude staff, stolen packages, elevators never work. They towed me and my sisters cars, and they still call months after she moved out with more and more charges (illegally). Even spamming our voicemail and emails with rates and offers even though the only reason they have my contact info is from when they towed my car. Do not rent here, there are better places in Alamo Heights for better prices with lovely renters.

Nice decent apartments. Love the pool, business center and gym. Super convenient. However. I’ll say this. They really need to fix the lock box issue. I’m really disappointed because if I order non Amazon packages I or my partner have togo down there on weekends only since we work to retrieve the items and most times there’s only one person on property on Saturdays. I’ve asked many times about it. Didn’t get a response but I had heard a long time ago they’d change companies or would work on it. I really want to know if that will ever get fixed. At my last apartments any item we ordered from any company would we would ALWAYS get a code for everything. This apartment is weird cause we don’t get alerts for everything. It’s very inconvenient. Like if they left everything in the mailbox fine, but they used the lock boxes to delivery lot of stuff. My husband checks his Amazon and his emails. Nope. Doesn’t receive a code either. It’s very strange. The most irritating part is each time we must retrieve the package from them, we deal with the same lady Selma who asks if we have the freaking code!!? Lady if we had it, we wouldn’t be asking you in the first place.

If I can give this a 0 I would!!! Where do I start with these apartments GERMAN roach infested, dog poop everywhere Even if you’re clean, these roaches will find a way into your unit.The dog park not kept up very unsanitary , they lock the trash doors even when you pay every month to dispose of your own trash. You pay for pest control I never seen a pest control nowhere in the apartments. They do not honor the quiet hours, a lot of parties 3/4am yelling and throwing stuff over their balcony. Even when we talked to the people in the office they didn’t do anything about it because it continue. There is random people coming in and out. People are in the pool smoking weed in front of the kids and the staff doesn’t do anything about it just acted like she went outside to talk to them but nothing was done. I had sketchy encounters with the manager and the staff corporate need to make a better discussion when hiring their staff. Or retrained them because apparently they don’t know what they are doing. Please read all the BAD reviews they we are NOT lying. Believe them before signing the contract. They are way better apartments.

Awsome place to live. Property Manager Has her eye on everything She really cares about her Property. Assistant Mnger is very helpful and funny. Leasing agent was very pleasant and very knowledgeable of the area and all of the great amenities. Its very affordable for the Location. The 3 Maintenance men are great they fix issues realy fast. My wife and I really enjoy living at "Republic at Alamo Hights " Halloween Decorations are Awsome.... Love this place .....

My experience with Republic at Alamo Heights has been nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the process has been smooth, and Andres has gone above and beyond to make everything perfect. He’s always responsive, incredibly helpful, and genuinely cares about making sure residents feel welcome and supported. I know there are some negative reviews out there that might make people hesitant, but my experience has been the complete opposite. The community is quiet, safe, clean, and I’ve had no issues with roaches or bugs at all. Thanks to Andres and the staff, moving in was seamless, and living here has been stress-free. Highly recommend!
