I was a resident here for over a year. I gave proper notice and moved at the end of my lease in April 2023. My apartment was clean with no damages. The apartment manager claimed they mailed me my deposit twice to the wrong address(a previous apartment address prior to residing at The Bristol) and that the check had been cashed. I’ve been cooperating with the property manager and their corporate AP department. Per their request and at my expense, I’ve had documents notarized and mailed to them, only to be told they would have to be corrected, notarized and mailed again. I am a senior citizen and feel like I’m being given the run around and taken advantage of. It’s been over a year, since I left the property (April 2023). As of today, April 5, 2024, I still haven’t received my deposit.

I have lived here for 2 years in a 2bdrm. The location is quiet, peaceful and secluded with easy access to restaurants, Wal-Mart, HEB, schools and highways. Management and maintenance have always been attentive to my needs or any repairs. I am currently in a 2bdrm and need a 3bdrm so I reached out to Ashley in December before putting in my 60 day notice and she informed me that there were no 3bdrms available. I was sad to have to move and reluctantly started looking elsewhere. In mid January Ashley called me to ask if I still needed a 3bdrm because one had become available!! Of course I said yes because I really love living here! Ashley has always gone above and beyond to help me and answers my concerns promptly. If there is ever any issues they are resolved quickly. Last year I had suggested that they provide pet waste stations and they recently installed them! Overall I have had a great living experience here. They maintain the property very well and I am so excited that I only have to move to the next building over. Ashley walked the new apartment with me today and even took pictures of things that needed repair and I know that she will have it fixed because she is very thorough before a move-in! Thank you Ashley!

I attempted to call the office several times but no one ever answered the phone . So I have made several trips to the office due to this purpose to get answers to questions I had about availabilities and renting there. The leasing agent Stephanie is very friendly and professional once I did speak to her in person. But I was kinda of disappointed that she didn't share the different affordable pricing apartments for low income families. I had to find out this information from a sister property Laurel Glen when I called. Their leasing agent was awesome. She informed me about every question I had while sharing additional information with me.

The apartments are nice enough, but they charged me for an issue that was present at move-in (kitchen light missing cover), an extra day of rent even though I turned the keys in 3 days prior to my lease ending, and "paint touch up" even though there was nothing but regular wear and tear on the walls and the only spots that I felt would really need repainting... needed it when I moved in. I took a video on move in and they refused to rectify the mistake with the deposit return. All of these photos were taken on move in. As far as the apartments itself goes, it was enjoyable in a quiet part of town with quick access to amenities, but traffic could get bad on New Guilbeau at times. If it weren't for the management trying to withhold parts of my deposit that they didn't need to, I honestly wouldn't mind living here again.
