If I could give 0 stars I would. Office staff has been changed multiple times since I first moved in January 2025. There has always been issues with communication and was impossible to get through to the office even in cases of emergencies. The water is always being turned off, they are always having issues with the water boiler/heater. We did not have access to our mail for majority of the time we lived here, they were all broken and not taken care of. I lived in a two bedroom unit and the AC worked more in the main bedroom than it did for the other room. Raccoons were living in our ceiling and you could hear them fighting in the walls. They were supposed to lay traps but maintenance never came. There was a bad roach problem, had to buy our own medicine because pest control didn’t come so you basically pay that for nothing. I’m beyond happy to be out of this place, please beware of living at these apartments. Also with moving out Azuma the company they recommended to me needed to come pick up their equipment, I had to reschedule three times. After speaking w/ Angelo the first time about giving written permission to allow access to the unit to get it, he did not communicate with the whole staff once Azuma showed up they told them they were unaware they were coming. The second time I was not informed when they take a lunch I assumed someone would be available. After calling to give a reminder I spoke w/ Angelo who was beyond rude and made a comment about how I should’ve had them picked up before I moved out which I would’ve had he properly communicated with the staff they would’ve picked them up that first day. Because of the lack of communication it caused them to pick up the equipment days after my lease ended. I’m glad Azuma got their equipment and I no longer have to deal with these apartments.

I’ve really enjoyed my time living in this apartment. The building feels safe with good security and well-lit common areas. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the staff is always helpful and respectful. It’s a comfortable and well-managed place to live. Giving thanks maintenance has gone above and beyond their required protocol and ensured our safety throughout the complex so shout out to Kevin Chris and Nelson and of course Angelo for creating a safe and secured living environment 🙏🏻

My mom has lived here for 25 years! The current (new) team is by far the best! Angelo (Assistant in leasing office) is amazing - he truly cares about resident concerns! Chris & Nelson (Maintenance) are highly knowledgeable, very efficient, and professional - exemplary focus on resident safety! THANK YOU, GENTLEMEN!

It's very affordable. If it wasn't for places like this, I would have no where to live, I can't afford the standard price of most apartments, but songbird was the best price I managed to find. The apartment maintenance as far as in unit care is reasonably fast and attentive, however the lot maintenance?? I hope that doesn't matter to you. Unfortunately my fellow residents do not care about picking up their pet poo, so the entire grounds smells awful and overall gives a lower quality poverty feel. My car got broke into, so it adds to the ghetto aspect. The gym as no AC, has mosquitoes some how, and none of the equipment even works...not to mention the lock on it is broken so anyone can just walk in without a code. The apartments have package lockers, but they broke, and my comics have been sitting in there for 6 months. I told the apartment team about it at the 2 month point and they had ME call the company to tell them it wasn't working. Why should I call about your equipment not working? I can understand if my package was missing or my specific locker didn't work, but if the entire community locker system is broken, that is a landowner issue...not a resident's. I don't blame the staff because they are probably doing what the owner asked if them. The pool is green and despite decent cleaning every Monday, it is tainted my the musty air around it and stinks. Staff is nice and respectful but it just comes off like the owner doesn't care that they report all these things because nothing is changing. I'm glad my rent was reasonable because charging for anymore other than my space would be ridiculous considering the fact that the grounds and maintenance priority is bad. I'm not saying the maintenance people are bad-- in saying the owner does not order repairs or pay the price to add value to the overall apartment complex... Sorry but it's obvious Update: worker reviews on indeed confirm that even staff is not happy working for ownership... They suck. {Images below not in order: Broken Gym machines (tredmill, elliptical, bike) Damaged package locker Green smelly pool Broken package locker screen Update: September 2025 The dog park has a huge flea infestation, which has spread all over the grounds. My dog has gotten infested several times despite treatment, I've spend hundreds of dollars on medications. A maintenance man came to work on my sink, and left all his towels in my apartment. When I called the office just to make sure he was coming back (because maybe he wasn't done) they said he completed the job. I asked them to come get the stuff he left, and even though they said he was on the way, he never came to get them, and the sink was NOT fixed.

I have been here for about a week. We had some air issues and Chris and Nelson from maintenance were extremely helpful. They keep making sure it was fixed and properly working. I know they are backed up because this is under new management. Compared to my last apartment which I couldn't even get ahold of maintenance at all. It's going great. I can tell that they're trying to turn this place around for the better. I just want to say thank you! It is nice to be in an apartment complex that actually cares about the people living there. Oh and my kids love seeing the deer that live around here. A bonus is the walking trail is so close.
