I’ve lived at Salado at Redberry twice now, which probably says a lot about my experience here. I moved back because I already knew the community was well maintained and comfortable, and the second time around has been just as positive. As someone in the military, the location is a big advantage. It’s a really convenient drive to Ft. Sam Houston, which makes the commute simple and predictable. Being close to base while still having a quiet place to live has made day to day life a lot easier. (I highly recommend to all my military folks!) The amenities are also a big highlight. The pool area feels almost like a small resort and is a great place to relax when the weather is nice. The fitness center is well equipped and makes it easy to stay consistent with workouts without needing another gym membership. There are also nice outdoor spaces and walking areas around the property that make it easy to get outside and unwind. Maintenance has always been great too. Anytime I’ve submitted a request it’s been handled quickly, and the team is professional and efficient when they come by. It’s nice knowing that if something comes up it gets taken care of without a long wait. Another thing that really stands out is the staff. They’re honestly some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met at any apartment community. They’re welcoming, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or help out when needed. They also do a great job building a sense of community by hosting events throughout the year. There are holiday gatherings, seasonal events, food truck nights, and other activities that give residents a chance to meet their neighbors and spend time together. Overall it’s been a great place to live both times. Between the convenient location near Ft. Sam, the amenities, quick maintenance service, friendly staff, and the community events, it’s been a comfortable place to call home.

I have been here for a little over a month with my significant other and I am in love with our new home. The leasing staff are so friendly and go above and beyond when helping with an issue. The maintenance team are extremely quick and reliable with repairs and the view is amazing. Management host events and that allows us to form a relationship with the staff as well as our neighbors. I already plan to renew my lease when the time comes, could not be happier with what we have.

I’m going on 1yr of living here and I can definitely say that it has been the best apartments I’ve ever lived in. The leasing lady’s are always kind and ready to help. It’s very peaceful throughout the whole day, if I need maintenance they come the day of or the next but usually it’s always quick and they get the job done, I’ve never had rodent or excess of roach issues, they have great equipment in the gym and I love the view of the pool overlooking the river + the free coffee in the lounge.

These apartments have been by far the best apartments I’ve ever lived on. Very modern, great amenities and plenty of parking. Close to downtown, the frost bank center and far from the crazy traffic. It is a quiet, clean, organized place managed by a great staff led by Ms. Gina who has been very attentive, respectful, and professional from the day I moved in. I’m looking forward to create more memories at the Salado.

First off, the Salado is an excellent property. Well maintained maintenance and a friendly staff. The only issues I have come across is the trash compactor. It over flows quick a lot leaving trash out for the buzzards and rodents and pests. There should be a button available for residents to be able to activate the way, for the ones who care, can help keep the property clean. The other issue is my neighbor. Most people here are quiet and respectful, and friendly. But I have to call the non emergency several times to address the disruptive noise that would cause my ceiling fans to shake, the shattering of glass, the yelling. I have addressed this with the front office in the past but I’m assuming it’s over-looked since it’s out of their control. I’ll have to renew my lease, and with that comes a price increase. I don’t feel like one should be given since nothing as changed around the complex nor are extra services provided. But I don’t have much of a choice.
