If I could rate this complex 0 stars I would. Overpriced, trashed, and nothing ever gets fixed. Bring any concerns to management it takes them over a week to respond to emails and they refuse to speak in person because they are always "in meetings". Garage always has trash everywhere, no matter what floor you're on and a tow truck is always lurking and circling the parking garage. When its time for trash to be taken out, they allow other units to have heaps of trash outside not condensed in a trash bag or any type of organization. Alarms are constantly going off, without fail I get a text notification of alarms and all clears! at least 1 every week or every other week. Absolutely no sound dampening anywhere in the apartment, I can hear everything in my apartment happening outside. Something is always broken, whether its doors or elevators, they is constantly something down. The stairwells around the property always smell like animal pee and poop and filled with alcohol cans or trash in general. Entirely overpriced for what you're getting. Save yourself time and money and move to any apartment nearby. At least they will have shuttles to take you to school too.

Prado is trash their name does not live up to its standards. WOULD GIVE 0 STAR RATING IF I COULD. Management is horrible, the agents working there have no idea what they're doing and won't even TRY to figure anything out no matter what your situation is. I've called about maintenance issues, over hearing of DV going on up stairs, trying to fix mailing addresses, and moving out fees. And everything has been dismissed by them. It's a whole bunch of back and forth that will never get resolved. HR is no better, my roommate and l both got charged with moving out fees that made no sense whatsoever, we even provided photos of how our unit was when we entered and no charges have been disputed yet. We both reached out to HR to get somewhere along with our situations and we stopped receiving replies losing hope that anything would be addressed. This has been an ongoing occurrence since we moved in August 2024 moved out July 31st 2025, and no out reach has been made from their end-EXCEPT back handed apologies from management. They even blocked me from their social medias because I left comments that I haven't heard back from anyone UNTIL I called and bothered every staff member to get this resolved. BRIANNA ( Sipriana Alba is the name that the emails would appear under ) the manager lacked professionalism and urgency due to “ high volume emails “ they have been receiving .. while I have been going back and forth for months with them. Every time I called the property manager was “unavailable” due to her being so busy, knowing I had been calling back to back just to receive an UPDATE that at least my emails have been received. But all I kept getting was “ we are unable to do disputes over the phone “ as if I haven’t been getting told that for the last SEVEN months. My move out charges went from $495 to $75.. that’s outrageous still and a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. I should not have to pay for anything at all since this has take them almost a whole year to straighten out. There’s literally only two people there that have been somewhat understanding Xander and Kayo, they were more listening to me and reporting back to Brianna ( Manager ) of what I was saying instead of her coming to talk to a frustrated former resident- she just let them get the short end of the stick and to me that seems like something a manager should never let their employees be in the position of. These apartments don’t care about your well being just your money.

This place SUCKS. These people cannot sort or deliver packages to save their life. I've had to wait for packages for up to one week after its says delivered based solely on their inability or communicate and sort packages. I have no cold water everything is scalding. The carpets had a disgusting feeling that stayed on socks and shoes and still felt off even after a deep cleaning. Adding to this there is mold in one shower and the showers water pressure quickly reduces to a light rain. Cleaning was a chore and it seemed like it had NEVER been cleaned before and it constantly smells like mildew no matter how many times you clean, disinfect, or use odor removers. Furthermore, it's still a 30 min walk to main campus. The front desk can be stuck up and rude when all you need is for them to do their job. The worst part is the parking. They have tow trucks that patrol the garage like their protecting the city from danger. The tow lot is AT LEAST 30 min away without traffic. You have to miss class, get an uber, then pay nearly $350 dollars to drivers who wont even listen when they're towing a car that has already been registered. I have had the tow company tow my vehicle which was registered TWICE. Mind you the office pleas not guilty and refuses to help or compensate!!!

I would not even give this place a rating. The management team does not even take phone calls to dispute any damages they claim we did. On move out day, the Property Manager(s) quit so my daughter could not have a walk through on her final day. I am being charged damages in the amount $280 that are normal wear and tear for an apartment, for painting the walls and cleaning the bathroom which was already clean and better than when my daughter moved in. Save yourself from this place and rent anywhere else but here.

When I moved into this apartment, it was in terrible condition. The room was dirty, there was mold in the bathtub, and the AC was leaking into it. There was no kitchen sink drain or trash can. Mid-year, water started leaking from the ceiling, giving it a moldy appearance, and it took weeks for them to repaint. The hallways looked like an asylum, with dog poop and pee everywhere, including the elevators. The water heater was also inadequate; if I took a shower while the washing machine was on, the water would turn cold. The shower was also leaking at first, so every time I would take one, it would squirt out over the shower curtain into the rest of the bathroom. The windowsill was repainted with bugs and hair underneath the paint. I left the apartment in much better condition than I received it, but I was still charged random fees for damages that were already there. The walls were already damaged, yet I was charged repainting fees even though I uploaded pictures of the damage in the move-in form. I was also charged to replace a perfectly fine chair and a sofa cushion with bonded leather that was already cracked when I moved in. The WiFi would also be down for days at a time. This place is far from a luxury apartment. It’s better to live at another complex, such as Sterling Heights.
