I’ve lived here for more than 3 years combined and I must say this has been a very pleasant place to call home. So much so that I am about to renew for the 4th time, this time transferring to a bigger apartment and Tanya Rodriguez has been incredibly helpful and attentive in helping me do so. She has been amazing at responding and helping resolve any issues that may arise along with being welcoming and professional. Montecito will always be special to me. From management to maintenance. Rob especially! Very attentive as well!

Lived here for a year; worst apartment experience. Roaches - I’m not just talking here and there there were dozens everyday. It was disgusting. Took 8 months to rid them from my place (and that was mostly me bugging the apartment non stop and doing some things myself), every single one of my neighbors were noisy. My downstairs neighbor played his loud music every single day for HOURS, despite me contacting him myself multiple times a month, and notifying the managers. Absolutely do not move here. It looks like a beautiful place to live but was the worst decision. Management got slightly better though when they changed management hence the 1 star otherwise 0. Didn’t have a day of peace and quiet at this complex :/ and as a full time nursing student that’s all I wanted when I came home from a long day.

I have lived at Montecito for the last two years and have had a wonderful experience. The apartment complex is incredibly peaceful, with many trees inside the community that provide a calm and serene environment. The staff and new management are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure residents are taken care of. Whenever I have a maintenance request, the team is very professional and fixes the issue quickly, often within 24 hours. The location is also excellent and very convenient, with easy access to nearby amenities. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a well-managed and peaceful place to live in San Antonio!

We truly love living here! The resident events hosted at the property are always so fun and thoughtfully planned, they really help build a sense of community. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference. A special shout out to Sarena in the front office.. She is such a pleasant and sweet person and always goes above and beyond for us. Her kindness and dedication never go unnoticed. We’re so happy to call this place home!

If you can live somewhere else go somewhere else! The apartment constantly smelled like cigarette smoke and an old motel no matter how much you cleaned. There was black mold and they denied it and always had problems with maintenance issues. You can hear the water pipes running from the other units turning on their showers. Office rarely ever answered the calls and were unprofessional when it came to explaining why they kept taking more money than they should’ve. You don’t expect much from an outdated apartment but surely didn’t expect that. Only good thing about there were some of the friendly neighbors.
