I’ve only been here a short while, but I’ve been really happy so far! The people at the leasing office have been happy to help with anything I need and have been quick to respond over email and phone. Maintenance has been fast and done great work, they haven’t done sloppy fixes like my experience at other places. This place might be older, but it’s definitely still worth it!

Welcome to Highview. Where management does not care about your safety. Where dog poop is everywhere.Where I lived for 4 years. My first 2 years, I had to deal with upstairs neighbors that played music until 5 am almost every night, and smoked weed constantly that it made our apartment smell. I have complained to management, they kept saying to call the non emergency police line, and I’ve had to call them so many times, and had video proof of my neighbors being loud- they did nothing. They moved out after 2 years thank god. So did one of my roommates, the one that lived right across from my room. Whenever someone moves out, they put a “DO NOT ENTER” sign on the rooms that are occupied, so the third party “company” they hire, know which room to go into and paint etc. I had a MAN unlock my LOCKED room door while I was sleeping and stare at me for 10 seconds. I was frozen in shock. I immediately called and emailed management, the first thing they asked if I removed the paper off my door. Now WHY would I do that. Why would a girl do that? Why in the world would I? And how did he even get a key for my room. This WAS NOT maintenance. This was the third party company they hired. Why would I even trust them? That situation put me in danger, invaded my privacy, and is probably illegal. Management told me to not worry because they finished renovations and won’t be in my apartment anymore. Well! Now I feel better :D thanks guys! How about you use all the money you get into doing background checks on the people u r letting in apartments and have free access to all the rooms even the ones that are occupied. This complex also works with trinity towing, which wasn’t an issue when I first moved in 2021- but they started working with them in 2022 I believe? And they like towing cars into the end of the city and making ur guests pay around $200-$300 :D oh and btw ur car isn’t safe as well! They might tow it by mistake even if its registered :D and this is so fun, when u want to move out, they will make up all these scammy charges

This is my fourth year. Let’s just say this complex has no idea where it’s heading. First year I was year I paid $549 a month, the apartment was absolutely horrible and multiple floods and issues that never got fixed. Year 2, the apartment was still horrible. Half way through the year, the complex got new management/staff. At first it got better the continued with same issues. I was paying $549 monthly Third year, we had 3 floods above us leak into our apartment. You can still see the water pockets in our ceiling. I was paying $599 monthly Now onto year four: I now pay $700 month for the same apartment that not been upgraded with new furniture or anything. We have put in countless reports for issues and they get “completed “ but nothing is fixed. They keep spamming with emails and calling me for me to renew. Funny how you want me to renew at $700. MY APARTMENT IS NOT WORTH $700. You would think they would try to talk to you to maybe get you the rate that your apartment is worth or even what you first paid when you lived here bc hey you’ve been a resident for four years now. You would think they would show a little care for someone who has put up with the mess they cause. Last lease, someone falsely wrote that I had moved out and I was taking a bath and two ppl from the front office came barging in my room after unlocking it with no knocking or anything and legit saw me naked and all I got was “oh someone wrote the wrong room” no sincere apology. Y’all violate peoples privacy and don’t fix up apartments and refuse to make the complex better. More than half of the lights to the building and parking lot are out but yall make sure to decorate the leasing office. Yall drive the golf cart like nascar driver to the point one of your staff ran into my parked car and you know what I was told? “Well you have no proof because we have no cameras in the parking lot” so yea I have about $2,000 in damages to my car bc of yall but I can’t even sue yall if I wanted to because yall have no cameras and why would your staff admit to something and risk there job. Right they wouldn’t. I’m not saying I don’t recommend this place but also be careful with what you’re signing yourself up to.

I just moved in a week ago and I already went through some problems with the apartment condition. I entered the apartment and a light did not work, the bathroom sink was plugged, the disposal did not work and the smoke detectors were beeping since they had not been changed and had low battery. Two days later the AC stopped working and they are trying to fix it. So far it has been bad. But the maintenance crew is helping to get things sorted out at least, that is why I gave two stars. The apartments are old and the one they showed me when I came to visit was way newer than this one I got. I just hope that the apartments gave more maintenance to the apartments so that the new resident does not have to do all the maintenance requests and fix what they did not. Plus the inspection form you have to fill out, I could not submit it for some reason. It was saved but I don’t know if it was received.

I would not recommend High View Apartments. My experience here has been filled with repeated issues that management either ignores or takes far too long to address. Despite bringing problems to their attention multiple times, there’s a clear lack of accountability and communication. To make matters worse, at move-out they attempted to charge me excessive and unjustified fees. These charges were not reflective of the actual condition of the apartment and felt like an attempt to profit off departing residents rather than conducting a fair and honest assessment. While I appreciated the kindness of the staff, the combination of slow or incomplete maintenance, lack of management accountability, and unfair move-out charges makes it hard for me to recommend High View Apartments.
