Terrible communication- I’ve been without a properly working AC for at least a year and a half. Any maintenance requests I have submitted have gone unacknowledged until I reached out to Craigmont Corporate Offices. Before my thermostat went out (it took over two weeks to replace) I submitted a service request regarding the unit not properly cooling. Unit reached over 80° in summertime. When a maintenance person finally came to check on it, I was told a an AC tech would be called out because AC was not cooling properly. No one ever came by. My electricity bills were over $250 all summer. It has been over a week that my AC unit has been out again. I submitted a service request 4 days ago and have not received any communication regarding even just an ESTIMATED time of repair. I pay my $1100 monthly rent on time with no issue. I follow my lease agreement and am respectful to my neighbors. It is frustrating and overall disrespectful that I am not afforded the same courtesy by management. Despite no pet rent and free WiFi it is absolutely not worth living so uncomfortably and without any peace of mind that my concerns are at least being somewhat addressed.

Update: There was a shooting at this apartment complex & the residents NEVER received notification that it happened. Original post: This place is absolutely horrible. This complex is infested with roaches and rodents. The tenants say the same thing. Arlene, the leasing agent, is not helpful. They have signage outside CLAIMING they do pest control every Friday, but as a daughter of a CERTIFIED exterminator, there’s no way they’re doing that with the amount of roaches I see every day. Again, I HAVE TO KILL SEVERAL ROACHES… EVERY DAY. The leasing office NEVER answers the phone. NEVER. The conditions here are unlivable and the property mangers simply doesn’t care. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I don't care what your budget is, please don’t stay here. Also, this place looks like a dump. The landscaping looks terrible, the dog run is always filled with debris and the structure itself is falling apart. I’m leaving photos and videos. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Update: posting a roach everyday that I see one.

When I moved into the East Azul apartments through Craigmont Living, they went above and beyond for me to make it happen. My parents house recently burned down and they needed a place to stay while their house is being rebuilt and they were able to help them by providing a nicely furnished apartment. East Azul apartments are pet friendly and Spectrum Internet comes with the apartment. I recommend if you want a nice place to stay near the Pearl and Ft. Sam

Ive been shopping for a new place and recently came across these apartments. I always judge by the first look and sometimes choose to walk away. But this time I figured i would just speak to someone just to see what happens. After spending time with Jenny, i was such at ease. She was very friendly and very professional! Not every day you talk to a leasing agent who is friendly , funny and knowledgeable about their place. Great people are hard to find now a days! Keep her , more business will come.

I will preface this review by saying that I have lived in over 8 different apartments in different cities and different neighborhoods in the last five years (I move a lot for work) and I adjust easily to minor issues. This place is objectively terrible and I would leave zero stars if I could. Management is extremely non-responsive and possibly the worst aspect of renting here. I went three weeks without a mailbox key and six months without being able to set up autopay (so had to pay unnecessary credit card fees because management never fixed the issue). My AC broke in the middle of the summer and they did not repair it despite maintenance requests. In addition, there are two washers for the entire building and they often do not work. Do not rent an apartment on the first floor. You will hear everything the upstairs neighbor is doing. The noise was so bad that I could not sleep. Management's response was that the neighbor was "a long-time tenant" and had been told to keep it down. After six months of this pain, they told me I could move to an apartment upstairs that was vacated for unknown reasons. They did not agree to pay for my move or offer any accommodations for the trouble. I still moved because I had just moved to the unit downstairs about six months prior and I did not want to have to transport all my stuff to a new building. I should have never stayed (the noise went away but the building/management is terrible). The only good thing about this place is the location. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
