Dalian Monterrey Village Apartments

I really want to give a shout out to Sydney for being an absolute pleasure during the leasing process! She was extremely patient and kind, responding all questions quickly and effortlessly. She made this whole process extremely easy and reduced any anxiety that we had. She worked with us every step of the way and we are so grateful to her!!

I've had many problems since moving into the new apartment, and I've already submitted reports through the app, but they haven't resolved them. They even close the reports as if they're fixed. 1- The air conditioner is leaking a lot of water every time it's turned on in cool mode. 2- The garbage disposal broke, and they just came and did nothing (now, because it's missing a part and rusted, it takes a long time to grind the garbage, and this could burn out the motor). 3- The air conditioner isn't cooling two of the three bedrooms. 4- Only one ceiling fan works properly; the other three fans rotate too slowly. They left a form on my door for me to rate the apartments, and here is my rating and why.

I am in the process of moving into this apartment complex. So far the process has been very easy and they do almost everything electronically, which makes it very convenient. I have never rented an apartment in Texas so some of the things that seem to be “normal” here are a bit of an adjustment. Things like valet trash service, parking restrictions, pest and amenity fees are a new concept for me. They’ve done a great job in explaining everything and being patient with me during this process. I use reviews of apartments to decide if I want to move forward with even viewing them and out of the 20 apartments I found, this one had the best reviews. Touring the property so far I have found that the reviews seemed to be very accurate. The apartments are very nice and the complex itself seems clean and safe. I love that there’s an option for a covered or Garage parking spot as well. I will say it’s a little bit of a sticker shock when you look at the price of an apartment and then when they add on all the fees, it’s obviously more but they are very transparent about everything and that makes a difference. My personal feedback is that it would be nice if the “rent“ price automatically included the extra mandatory fees. I am looking forward to moving in and starting this new chapter in my life. I feel blessed to have found such a nice place to start this journey. Update: Dalian Monterey Village has been incredible. I have a place that I can call home and it feels like home. I feel peace and calm and clarity when I come home to my apartment. It’s exactly what I needed.

If you’re looking for a place called home look no further. The office staff is Amazing especially Sydney. She is so sweet and thoughtful. The entire staff. The grounds are beautiful so hats off to the maintenance team. My apartment itself was clean and it’s spacious. I could go on and on about this place but to sum it all up I 💕love it here !
