The team at CWR made it extremely easy to move in and their pricing is very transparent. Some placed try to casually add hundreds in monthly fees. My only complaint is that not all of my messages were responded to right away, but they always got back to me after I followed up.

Mike and Jessica are the heartbeat of this community. Their reliability, kindness, and dedication transform everyday living into a luxury experience. They make residents like myself feel heard, supported, and appreciated — and that’s something truly special. Cortland Walker Ranch is better because of them, and their work deserves to be celebrated loudly.

I am a disabled veteran and student who moved here three weeks ago under the assurance that this was a peaceful, QUIET community. I emphasized repeatedly that I was desperately trying to move due to construction and noise near my former residence. On Day three of living here, I see 10+ contractors in the front and back of my building setting up to do major work. The team failed to inform me prior to move in that my building and the surrounding buildings were about to undergo massive, MONTH-LONG structural repairs, heavy backyard drainage installation, etc. So in addition to listening to drilling and chaos for the past three weeks, there is currently a large hole in my yard and I have no idea when this work will be complete. There is no actual timeline. This information somehow slipped their minds while demanding I meet their list of tasks and pay $2500 in fees or I couldn’t get my keys. Included in those move in fees was a $400 pet fee for my certified Emotional Support Animal (ESA). I submitted all paperwork and still haven’t heard anything back about a refund or removal of pet fees. By law, there is no deadline for refunding those fees. I fully understand that Landscaping and repairs are necessary to elevate the community and make it a better place for residents. I also understand that they can’t control the contractors. But what I will NOT accept is them selling a dream on the tour, and delivering calculated deception and zero professionalism. Beware!

Great place to live! Maintenance is always timely and helpful, community facilities are updated and clean, residents are friendly! I would recommend living here to anyone who values a peaceful, chill community! Also a great location close to restaurants and grocery stores.
