Carmel Canyon Apartment Homes

I’ve only just been here for a week, but have nothing but good things to say about this place so far! They’ve been super welcoming, friendly, helpful, and patient. I found a few issues in the apartment upon move-in, and they got to work getting it all fixed up and functional for me immediately and are super responsive to questions and messages. Like just a few days after moving in my AC burnt out, and within literal minutes of me putting in the maintenance request (which was well after hours, around 7pm) I got a call to see what they could diagnose over the phone, then they came in first thing the next morning and found the issue, got parts in (they even installed a window ac unit temporarily in case parts didn’t arrive in time), and had it fixed before the end of the day. And whenever maintenance had come by to fix something when I’m not home and I happen to have had a package delivered to my door? They just go ahead and move it inside for me. Just one of those small courtesy things they do that to me at least shows they really care. The apartments overall seem very well maintained, and it’s a small, quiet complex (at least, I haven’t experienced any disturbances so far), and particularly considering the area and the price, are very nice. A couple of my favorite perks: the apartment has a nice big garden bathtub (a HUGE perk for me, since I love to relax in the tub, but never really get to since I’m fairly tall and most standard-sized tubs can only fit half of my body-length at a time, so a big tub is a big benefit for me), and they also cover the 1gig plan with Google Fiber (the best internet I’ve ever used as a gamer, so this really excited me), with options when you sign up for Google Fiber to still upgrade to their higher speed plans for a small price (for example I went ahead and paid the extra $30 a month for the 3gig plan and intend to upgrade my computer’s network card to take full advantage of that higher internet speed). There’s plenty of good eats within easy reach around here too, including Summer Moon Coffee (which Carmel Canyon also gave me a couple coupons for upon move in) literally being in walking distance, where I’ve now started going regularly for my morning coffee.

I met Desiree (manager) several months ago and she made such an impression on me that when I finally was ready to move into an apartment, Carmel Canyon was my only choice! She is so amazing at her job and is such a fabulous person. Desiree went over and above to accommodate all of my needs. I highly recommend living here and knowing Desiree!

Had a great move in experience. The property is clean and I like that there are security cameras around the property. My family and I feel secure. The pool area is nice and clean and we like that we have access to a walking trail.The manager (Desiree) is very helpful 👍🏽 I've had 2 maintenance request that were handled very quickly. Great job overall!!

I'm very blessed to live at Carmel canyon. Desiree is an amazing landlord and has a heart for her tenants and community. She is a great listener and she finds solutions to problems. She takes care of business, great leader and heart of gold. When I am in need of maintenance, I have these men knocking at my door ready to execute the problem without delay and they take care of business. I don't have to wait around for days. You don't have to go to the office and ask for an air filter because they have a schedule to get it taken care of. The pool is clean year round. It's a small community but much love and we are taken care of and accepted as an individual. This is home!

Carmel Canyon is a great apartment community. The staff does such a good job maintaining high living standards. We have rented multiple apartments over time and each time we are beyond impressed. Project Manager, Desiree Mitchell, is phenomenal! She is always responsive and a pleasure to talk and work with. We are really happy we found this location for housing. Thank you Carmel Canyon team.
