Unprofessional HOA and no security despite the fees being higher than other similar properties.

Im moving in soon. I am hopeful and the property is beautiful. The pool is 10 feet out my front door. We will see and I will review again. After living here six months, had an inspection and was personally thanked by property management for keeping the old place in such amazing condition!! Feels nice! Well here we are, I did move out. Not because of the property, but the leasing company and owner of my actual condominium were difficult to say the least. No ac for over a week in the summer and I had to end up paying $275 in repair. Refrigerator broke and the condo owner refused to replace it, I had to buy a new fridge. I also agreed to stay longer at the beginning of the pandemic, so I wouldn't have to move, but also I didn't want them having to find a new tenant during that time. I actually thought the condo owner had grown a heart. Well after three months they ended up giving me 30 days notice after I had a major heart attack. I asked because of the heart attack could we stay two more months. I was told that the property was being sold so no we had to move even though I was ill and it was the middle of the pandemic, which it was illegal at that time to move anyone. The day we moved out the management company locked the condo at 11 am. I was in the hospital but had arranged a secondary mover for the last trip and a team of cleaners. Not one person could get in. I couldn't recover any of my belongings from the back porch or garage. They even asked that I file an insurance claim for damage to a floor? No, I don't think so. I had been inspected twice to glowing reviews and then damage? No. And... It was back up for rent in a week. Completely illegal. And no I was not behind on rent, the condo owner suddenly decided she no longer wanted pets in the condo? Horrible experience and we only used the pool four times. Ashamed. Also, no parking, very old property, made to look new, crime, car broken into twice. Downstairs toilet never worked and I did complain, it didn't matter.

These condos are very very nice it's a discreet location on Old Blanco Road use two ways to get in the garage way or the front entrance by the show it's so close everything and there's no traffic I had a townhome there through the winter and it was just a marvelous place to be I really did enjoy the hell out of living there the pool is always clean but there's no one in it so it's always ready for you and I recommend this place very much if you're looking for a solid place to live in lay and rest your head

The HOA is a joke. The actual home owners are a bunch of whiney babies. How can you expect the Property Manager to perform everything that everyone wants when her hands are tied due to expenses. The expenses have to be approved by the BOD of the HOA and if they don't approve, things don't get done. These home owners have amenities that other places don't have, but expect more out of 2 people who are limited to part time hours to do a full time job. The property has increased in value and beautification in the last 6 years due to the hard work of the Property Manager. Suck it up Buttercups and get off your lazy butts and do things for yourself. Vote for a Board who knows how to do the duties of a Board.
