It’s been great! Stephanie and Belinda in the office have been so helpful. I’ve had several questions, this being my first time living in an apartment, and they always explained things in a friendly helpful manner. The complex is kept very clean. The landscaping crew does a great job blowing the beds and keeping things up. I really enjoy the grounds at The Can Plant and at The Pearl in general.

We made it! Moved in today after first touring the property a few months ago, and everything has gone so smoothly. Both our leasing agent Stephanie and her teammate Belinda did everything they could to make sure we got into an apartment we loved. We have a great view, tall ceilings and all new appliances. The vibe at the Pearl is why you choose this place, and it delivers it at your doorstep. Obviously we are early into our lease, but I'm hopeful it continues to live up to expectations.

Please read carefully before considering a move here. I moved in November, and during my tour I was told the apartment was renovated. I specifically asked about noise and was assured that the insulation was excellent and that there would be no noise after 9 PM. On the very first night, the traffic noise was unbearable. The windows have severe air leaks, and there is virtually no sound insulation in either the windows or the walls. I was also shocked to discover that a train passes by multiple times at night and is extremely loud. I attempted to use earplugs to cope with the noise and ended up developing an ear infection. The only “renovation” done to the apartment appears to be fresh paint and new kitchen fixtures. The bathrooms are extremely old—bathtubs are cracked, and the bathroom ventilation fans are very loud and do not function properly. Construction is ongoing throughout the property, leaving the apartment constantly dusty and dirty. Management has been unhelpful and unresponsive. They will not allow me to break the lease without a 60-day notice in addition to a lease termination fee. As a result, I am currently forced to sleep in hotels and will have to pay close to $15,000 just to protect my health. This has been a very unfortunate experience marked by a lack of transparency. Communication stops as soon as you raise any concerns. Lastly, be aware that the positive reviews are incentivized. I discovered that residents are offered money to write favorable reviews. Many other reviews describe experiences similar to mine. Proceed with extreme caution.

Been living at the Can Plant for almost 2 months now. I definitely made the right choice when moving into San Antonio. The apartments were recently renovated and look super modern. The amenities are great for the pool, fitness center, and resident lounge with the big perk being the valet trash (something that I never had before). The office staff and maintenance teams are amazing. I first met with Belinda who showed me the property and model units. She was super thorough through the process with staying in touch and answering all of my questions to help narrow down to the perfect unit available during my move-in time. Belinda was a total rockstar! Josie and Henri are super caring and welcoming to assist with questions and needs. Top notch team at Can Plant. The Resident Events are great for meeting new people and just enjoying living at the Can Plant. The neighborhood at the Pearl is perfect and has everything you can need right outside the building. So many options for restaurants and shops with a big perk being the weekend farmers and makers markets. It’s the perfect place for a first time move into San Antonio.

We’ve been living at The Can Plant since August 2024, and it’s been an amazing experience! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Pearl District with so many great restaurants, shops, and events just steps away. The community is vibrant, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Our apartment is modern, comfortable, and well maintained, and the amenities are fantastic. Especially the Resident’s Lounge where I get most of my work done. The management team is responsive and helpful, making sure everything runs smoothly. We truly feel at home here. If you’re looking for a place with a perfect blend of convenience, style, and community vibe, The Can Plant is the spot. Highly recommend it!
