My partner and I have been living here about a month now, I will update this review at the 6 month and 12 month markers, or as relevant information becomes available. So far we have had a wonderful experience with this apartment complex. Below is a breakdown of our experience. Tour - In early January we scheduled a tour with them. Our tour guide/ leasing agent was Deborah. She was incredibly helpful, very friendly, and very charismatic. She was thorough in showing us everything and answering all our questions. There was no hesitation or roundabout answers like we experienced at other complexes. She was very direct. The complex itself was very nice. Not luxury by any means but it was clean, quiet, and homey. We had the opportunity to see the apartment we ended up choosing to rent. We had been dead set on first floor, but we loved the unit so much we went for third floor. The unit was very clean, you can see some of the areas where paint has been used to cover some very minor wear and tear from previous tenants, but it’s hardly the “landlord special” you see in a lot of other places. Lease - For the layout we chose and the quality of the unit, we got a pretty decent deal on our rent. We got a $250 discount on our move in fees because I am a UTSA employee. My partner and I are first time renters, so this whole process was very new to us, but Deborah and Diana made it so easy and walked us through everything. Deborah was constantly in communication with us through the whole process and whenever she wasn’t available, Diana was very kind and happy to help. They really made the whole thing go so smoothly. From the day we toured to the day we moved in it was about two and a half weeks. Move in - We expected it to be hectic (start of spring semester) but the complex was pretty quiet. Neighbors are friendly, one even helped us get our couch up the stairs. Moving wide furniture up the stairs is very tricky because the stairways are pretty narrow so keep that in mind when moving, but we did manage to get everything up there with some team work. Be aware also that if you have a trailer or U-Haul, parking is a little bit weird. We had to basically just have our friend’s truck off to the side with him ready to move if someone needed to leave their parking spot, unload everything onto the sidewalk, then have him loop around to find some empty parking spaces somewhere near the back. So check out the parking situation near your unit before move in. First month - The apartment complex is exceptionally quiet. Half the time I’m convinced I don’t actually have Nextdoor neighbors. So far I feel very safe. I come home very late from work and have never felt uneasy. We opted to rent a washer and dryer instead of using the community laundry room and it’s been worth it. We did find a few spots under the kitchen cabinets that were not blocked off so our cat found a way to get in between the cabinets, but we are planning to reach out to maintenance to get that fixed. So if you have any small pets, just make sure to look out for that before move in. If you go to UTSA for work or school, the shuttle bus does come by every 15 minutes or so. It’s super convenient and saves me money on a parking pass. The complex is also within walking distance of Insomnia Cookies which is a highlight for me at least since I’m up late and I like sweets. There are multiple businesses near by that are open decently late. My partner has made use of the gym and has been enjoying it. Also the outdoor hammock area is very nice. You do have to take your own trash and recycling to the dumpster but there are multiple around the complex so you don’t have to walk far. I did see some raccoons at one of them at night but that’s to be expected so be careful taking trash out at night and try to actually put your trash in the dumpster itself not on the side. There are also some wasps forming some nests now that the weather is warming up, but we are planning to reach out to the pest control company that the complex provides to ask them if they can deal with that for us.

Just took a tour of the complex today and was so incredibly impressed with everything I saw. The apartments and grounds are gorgeous, and the pricing is so reasonable. Brandi was absolutely wonderful!! Hope to make this my new home next year!

We have only been living in our new apartment for a week, but the application and approval experience was excellent and the unit is clean and well-maintained. Diana and Deborah in the office made sure that I was given the best customer service possible, assuring me that my new apartment would be to my very high standards. I submitted a maintenence request and it was completed within a day, and Hector was so kind to bring a heavy delivery upstairs when I was unable to do so. I did a huge amount of research on apartments in the area, and Broadstone Ranch is certainly the best among them for rates, customer service, amenities, and overall quality.

This apartment is in a perfect location right next to Costco and less than 3 miles from La Canterra. The ladies who are in the leasing office are very kind. I move in on Monday and the process was easy. My credit is excellent so you have a good chance of being approved if your credit is 700 +. Thank You Brandi- MGR, Deborah ASST, Diana Leasing. Best Regards, Gary

Glad to call Broadstone Ranch Apartments home. Thank you, Brandy and Diana for all the assistance getting moved in and the Great welcome. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. Great job maintenance. Families walk the complex in the evening (how cool!) and UTSA is so close.
