Avocet Apartments

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. At first look, these apartments are beautiful however what seemed like a great deal turned into a disaster and a waste of my time. Upon my move-in walkthrough 1/2/26 I observed a significant amount of roaches in my assigned unit. Specifically the unit 525. Per my conversation with Shane the leasing office manager, I was told I would be moved to another unit in a different building but he insisted they clean it and have me do another walk through. Also when I told him I walked into a unit full of roaches all he had to say was “well I walked through it 5 hours ago and it was fine” we knew that was a lie because some items like old bobby pins were left in the apt. by the previous tenant!!! And if he did his job right and cared for the hardworking people he’s housing he would’ve saw the condition and state of my apartment and knew that was absolutely horrendous and wrong of him to think anyone would accept. I returned to view the apartment after 3 days went by to give them enough time to clean the unit and when I arrived there was 3 times the amount of roaches as before and nothing was cleaned or done to provide me with a livable unit. I waited to make this review as I was waiting for my deposit to come back but I would never recommend anyone to move into these apartments and if you do live here I suggest you document everything and move out as soon as you can. What they’re doing over there is wrong and unacceptable. Everyone deserves a nice clean and comfortable environment to come home too and this is certainly not the place for you, your family or your pets. You deserve to be treated as a human being, not just another number or vessel that they can scam into another unlivable unit. Know your rights, inform yourself on the housing laws and fight against the people and business’s who do you wrong!

Angel and the staff at avocet has gone above and beyond to accommodate my sitution. They were able to quickly process application and move me into a beautiful apartment. I highly reccomend the staff at avocet if your looking for a beautiful place to live.

The online application process was easy, fast, and simple. The turnaround time for approval and move-in was incredibly quick — I was in my new apartment in less than four days! The office staff was very helpful, friendly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate the great service and highly recommend them.

If you’re not sure about this apartment, read this review. I moved in Oct 2024, single father of 3 girls. Management has been awesome. Back in May of this year I got laid off and it’s been hard. I truly want to thank Brandy and her team for helping me and going through that difficult time with me professionally. It’s been a rough summer, but I don’t know how I would’ve been able to get through it without them and their help. So if anybody is thinking about getting an apartment here, amenities are great. The maintenance man responds immediately to your request. Reading this review might make you think it’s too good to be true, but I’m telling you now you don’t get an apartment and management better then this. They truly have been Gods gift to me and my kids. Thank you Avocet for everything. I hope this review touches anybody looking for apartment and is wondering if they should move in.
