Neglectful management and the rooms are not worth the price you pay for. During my time here, the water boiler exploded in my unit, elevators in the building were always broken, and walkways were littered and stunk of vomit. Paid parking does not guarantee a parking spot, as mine was occupied twice. Do not bother rooming here.

Move in was good, everything works and there’s no bugs so far

I lived at Avalon for over two years, and overall, my experience was OK. I'll start with the pros: - the proximity to campus is great - the maintenance crew is awesome! - management was professional towards me at all times, even the very few times where issues occurred. Cons: - my apartment A/C itself was a bit difficult to deal with from start to finish. My apartment got hot, regularly. Thus, the maintenance crew was over often because my apartment would not cool down. - parking. You will not find parking as a resident here without paying for your own parking spot. They tow constantly. - cost. - the walkways frequently had foul smells from people not cleaning up after their pets. Just an FYI readers, the complex never reached out to me to set up a meeting time as they commented. :)

The WiFi goes down sometimes but it is a great place to live very spacious.
