Abacus Alamo Ranch

It’s been almost 3 years since I’ve lived at Abacus West and I’ve always been happy with the services provided by all staff members. Both office and maintenance people have been very prompt in responding and solving any requests I have submitted and if my husband wouldn’t be going overseas due to his military orders, I would definitely be renewing here. I love their gym, as I workout every day, always clean and well maintained, it’s always a quiet place and I love being at the pool in the summertime. I love the convenience of having a wide selection of Restaurants, grocery stores, retail in this area and their proximity to Abacus West. Thank you Veronica and Darren for making my stay here such a pleasant one!

These apartments complex is amazing- not only is the community beautiful and well cared for, but the event center is also a fantastic bonus! I recently rented it out for my sister-law surprise gender reveal party and everything went smoothly. Alyssa & Jaaliyah & the rest of the staff were so kind, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfect. By far these are the BEST apartments I have lived in! I highly recommend these apartments the units are spacious, well-maintained, and offer a comfortable living environment.

I can’t say enough good things about this apartment complex. From day one the team made me feel right at home. Alyssa, Jaaliyah and staff in the office are amazing- always going above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of. It’s rare to find a place where people genuinely care like they do here. They’re all so friendly and welcoming. The complex is well maintained with a modern look, they have great amenities like beautiful pool, volleyball court, nice gym, dog park and my favorite a nice trail that goes around the apartment complex and more! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to live!

These are beautiful apartments with well-kept layouts and an appealing look overall. However, while the complex itself has potential, there are several ongoing issues that have impacted my experience here: 1. Parking – Despite paying high rent, a parking spot isn’t guaranteed. Most spaces are reserved (paid) covered parking, while visitors can park freely. This often forces residents to park far from their own units. 2. Unexpected Fees – Random fees sometimes appear on the account, and when brought up to the office, staff are unable to provide a clear explanation for the discrepancies. 3. Office Communication – The office often requests in-person meetings only during their availability, without much flexibility for residents who work and cannot come in during those hours. 4. Security Concerns – The gates are often left open, allowing random cars and non-residents to enter. I’ve seen non-residents use the dumpsters and amenities, and on one occasion, a homeless man was at the pool with his belongings spread out. For the rent charged, stronger security should be expected. 5. Safety with Children – While not necessarily management’s fault, children in the complex frequently run into the road without warning, creating dangerous situations even when driving slowly. 6. Traffic in the Area – The location comes with heavy traffic. My commute to work is 25 minutes in the morning, but returning home often takes over an hour. If you’re looking for convenience, this location may not be the best choice. New update: I don’t know how to post again! After posting my original review, I had the opportunity to speak with the property manager, Alyssa Cervantes, regarding my concerns. She was extremely polite, professional, and positive during our conversation. She helped clear up some confusion, offered solutions for my personal concerns, and made me feel heard and respected as a resident. While I mentioned I would think about resigning my lease, due to the reasons I previously listed I will most likely still be moving on. I also appreciate that Alyssa shared the staff members I’ve had challenges with will be receiving additional training to improve communication and support for both current and future residents. Even though this was our first interaction, she handled it with professionalism and care, which left me with a much better impression of the property’s leadership. Because of this positive experience, I’ve decided to raise my rating. I want to continue to recognize leasing associate Jaaliyah Rios, who has always been a bright spot with her professionalism and kindness, and now also acknowledge property manager Alyssa Cervantes for her excellent communication and willingness to help. Both of these staff members set a strong example of what great resident service should look like.

I must say very impressed with Landscape and curb appeal. Apartment’s has great upgrades , and Community is gated gives you the comfort of feeling secured. As a pet owner it’s important that the apartments are Pet friendly. Not only are they pet friendly it has a big gated dog park. for the residents pets to play and run love it. …A big plus the Highway is only minutes away including ,HEB and Walmart and much more what else can you ask for….. The Office Staff is so welcoming. I would certainly recommend apartments to anyone searching for apartments.
