Westwood Apartments

Me and my mom visited the apartment complex today, and we had such a great first impression. We met Ms. Patti, the concierge, and she was so warm and welcoming. She made the whole check-in process easy and treated us with kindness and professionalism. We also met Ms. Makida, the General Assistant Manager. She took her time answering our questions and made sure we understood everything clearly. She was patient, helpful, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the residents. Even though this was our first visit, their hospitality and professionalism really stood out. They made both me and my mom feel comfortable right away, and it left us with a very positive impression of the community.

So far my husband and I are having a lovely experience at Westmont Apartments. The staff is lovely and attentive and always around to help. Patti, the lovely lady at the front desk is very welcoming and always very helpful with any issue. She creates a warm environment for the residents. We had one problem with our fridge and someone came by the fix it the same day very quickly. Would definitely recommend this building.

I've been living at Westmont since the beginning and absolutely love my apartment. The natural sunlight and layout are both amazing. Overall, I haven't experienced any major maintenance issues. The switch to Bozzuto for property management was a great change. The management team is professional, polite, and responsive to concerns. All of the staff, including maintenance, are courteous and always greet you kindly. The community is well-maintained and feels welcoming, with tenants and neighbors always saying hello! A special mention goes to Charlotte, the concierge—her energetic, caring, and attentive personality is truly an asset and makes Westmont feel like home. She's extremely organized, always ready to assist, and someone I can consistently count on!

I do not recommend this building; consider looking elsewhere. I have lived here since December 2023 and had to request an early lease termination due to numerous issues. Since moving to Westmont, my apartment has had one problem after another. Upon moving in, I encountered several issues. The electric bill was excessively high due to incorrectly wired meters. My washer/dryer did not work properly; the washer leaked, and the dryer took nearly two hours to dry clothes. It was discovered that the dryer vent on the roof was not open, posing a fire hazard. The contractor who opened the vent left a hole in the ceiling, which was poorly patched and painted. Maintenance rescheduled multiple times, and I only found out about the service status by visiting the leasing office. The maintenance supervisor has a poor attitude and blames tenants for issues. I also had mold in a cabinet, which was treated with bleach, staining my kitchen rug. My AC unit broke and took about a week to get fixed, and I was given a spot cooler, which made a lot of noise at night, leading to poor sleep. The apartment flooring lifts in certain areas, and I was told by maintenance that is a thing. Water entered the apartment during heavy rain, and the temporary solution was to apply caulking around the windows, which remains unresolved. Maintenance does not notify tenants of their visits, causing inconvenience for those working from home. Issues around the building are often referred to warranty, taking 4-6 months to resolve. Tickets are canceled by management without explanation. Trash rooms are frequently full and non-functional. Management’s solution is to implement fines and require tenants to use the first-floor trash rooms, which are also often non-functional. Elevators frequently have animal urine and stool. Overall, I do not recommend this apartment complex as it is not worth the high cost.

The apartment building is AMAZING. From the application to moving in I have received TOP TIER service. Wayne was very enthusiastic about helping me find my perfect floor plan. He showed me multiple units and helped me choose the one that would ultimately work for me and my lifestyle. The maintenance staff is exceptional and takes care of your concerns quickly and efficiently. The GM Kayla has a positive can-do attitude and takes all of the residents concerns very seriously. I can’t wait for the upcoming resident events she is planning! The entire staff at Westmont go above and beyond and trust me you will not regret leasing here. The amenity spaces are beautifully decorated and are perfect for entertaining. The apartment unit finishes are elegant, clean, and neutral which makes it the perfect canvas to decorate anyway you like. I have already started making my apartment at Westmont feel like HOME!
