As a Marriott Platinum Elite customer, I've stayed at many Marriotts, and this was one of the worst experiences, particularly at check-in and in dining. The front desk person was very friendly; however, the area was chaotic, with people standing everywhere. The biggest issue, however, was the care in the dining area. We waited more than 10 minutes just to be noticed by the server, even though it wasn't that busy. Once we got our food, we had to wait another 5 minutes for utensils, and whenever anyone asked for a cocktail, the server had to look up the recipe. And that would be okay if the server acknowledged people and spoke to you, but he didn't - completely aloof. It was as if the customers were inconvenient, not how anyone on travel wants to be treated.

Great location if departing from DCA, 4 minute drive to terminal parking. Hotel is renovated, clean, staff was friendly. You get some platinum perks like free coffee and drinks which replaces the usual Courtyard F&B credit. Hotel Self Parking at $49/night is clearly overpriced. you can park in same garage through Spothero and they will only charge $16/night - but that is against hotel’s T&Cs and may get you canceled if you stay in hotel. Seems like a weird setup for hotel guests pay 3x more for parking! The only benefit - you get unlimited in/out when parking as a hotel guest. There is another garage next to hotel at $8/ but it only operates 6am-6pm on weekdays, so make sure you don’t get locked out.

I feel like parking for $49 a night is egregious to start. The rooms are nice, however they don’t come with a microwave. You must use a communal microwave located by the ice machine, which was not clean. I was also thrown off by housekeeping. They did a good job making the bed, but it unsettled me having my toothbrush touched and moved onto the soap dish from its previous location. Breakfast isn’t free, everything is a la carte. Had to park basically 10 minutes away just to avoid the parking fee, and even then you have to move your car by 8am or you’ll get a ticket. Probably won’t stay here again..

Our company use this location for the meeting room and I stayed at the property with the instructor. I must say absolutely a wonderful experience as always. This is why I guess return to these locations. Lunch was served on time perfection by George and banquets Luciana the sales banquets team greeted me upon arrival. I can’t say enough great things about the staff here including Leanne, Angie and Beatrice everyone at this location is so helpful. It’s a clean property great location close to Pentagon city Highly highly recommend recommended. We will be back. Thank you for everything.

Location was very convenient and close to DCA. The airport shuttle runs frequently. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient in checking you in and out. Unfortunately the rooms did not have a microwave so I couldn't reheat leftovers. The staff also spelled my name wrong (which isn't a huge deal but still). The room was clean and spacious but on the 6th floor there was a lot of light and noise from outside late at night.
